My Honest Review about Galgotias University.
Placements: Placements are good, and there are a lot of companies coming to campus for placements. Also, teachers provide a lot of support during that period. The management was really nice. Every company coming to campus is really good and offers great placements to many students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. Classes library, labs, and everything are very good in my opinion. There are pretty much labs for every department there from AI ML to cybersecurity to Mechanical engineering. That's one of the best parts of the college. There is also a newly built 3D printing lab to top it off. We also have IOS development Lab.
Faculty: Faculty members are decent and they help you. The course is also good and they start teaching you the core subjects for CSE like OS, DBMS, system design, and DSA early, so it really compounds over time and gives positive results for your hackathon guidance to placements. Faculty members do help you a lot, and they are very cooperative.

It has good placements with great infrastructure due to a large crowd. Competition is high here.
Placements: Galgotias University provides decent placements. The average package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. Around 70-80 percent of students got internships. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, etc. Top roles offered in my courses are software engineer, web developer, AI engineer, ML engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good. The infrastructure is good. The hostel provides 24-hour light and Wi-Fi connection. It has a fully secure environment. Libraries are also available from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The food quality is good. It provides food with pure hygiene. There are also 24x7 medical facilities in the hostel. There are multiple sports areas like cricket, football, basketball, badminton, chess, air hockey, pool, etc.
Faculty: Exams conducted in my course are good. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. If we face any kind of issues, we can directly contact them anytime. They are very supportive. The course curriculum is totally based on what the industry demands. Semester exams are not difficult. If we pay attention in class and do our assignments, and memorize everything, then it is very helpful during exam time.
Other: I chose this course because it provides me with a broad range of options for the future. It provides me with a lot of opportunities.

Nice infrastructure, but a lack of management and placement is decent.
Placements: Placements at Galgotias University are not very strong, as most companies coming to campus are for sales profiles, even for B.Tech students. So placements are not very strong here. Core technical opportunities are quite limited, and only a few students manage to secure a tech job in an MNC.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure at Galgotias is excellent, with modern classrooms, libraries, and labs. However, the hostels are just decent, offering basic facilities but not up to the mark. But you can choose between the hostels. I never lived there, so I don't have much of an idea, but most of my friends told me that it is the worst hostel campus a university can have.
Faculty: Faculty at GU is a mix of experienced and fresh teachers, having good teaching skills, while some only focus on theory. The curriculum is updated, but I think it can be more practical. Exams are not that difficult, students can easily score above 70 by studying overnight.
Other: If you want the best infrastructure, then go for it. But the crowd is the worst there. Mostly local and uncivilised people with only the mindset to get into a fight, but if you only want to study, then this university is not for you.

Very good university for engineering. The infrastructure and college environment are very good.
Placements: There were 1500+ students in the overall B.Tech branch. The average package was around 4 LPA. Both MNCs and startups hired students. More than 1000 students got internships, mostly in startups. For B.Tech and other courses like Journalism, BBA, B.Sc., and other branches. The university provided placements across different companies. However, due to the large number of students, some also applied off-campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library were all good with AC implemented. Environment was fantastic. The quality of hostels, mess, canteen, and sports facilities were very good.
Faculty: All teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry-ready. Semester exams were a bit difficult, so proper preparation was needed. The pass percentage was around 50–60%. Teachers were very helpful and understanding. They cleared doubts properly and sometimes even provided attendance support in special cases, such as late buses or emergencies, with valid proof.
Other: I chose this course because I had Science in 11th and 12th. One improvement could be removing the extra first-year subjects like Biology, Physics, and Maths, which are not required for placements. There were many events, a good campus environment, good connectivity, and extracurricular activities. Scholarships were also available.

Excellent infrastructure, campus life, but average placement.
Placements: B.Tech 2026 placements are going well. The average package is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the highest is 44 LPA. The placement percentage is around 95% to 98%. Around 4,700 offers have already been made this year. Top recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and others. Approximately 80% of students secure internships with top companies like American Express, Adobe, and Cisco.
Infrastructure: University has a very beautiful campus with all facilities you can think of. It has good labs, an iOS development center, a gym, Wi-Fi, and a library. It also has AC classrooms, a sports room, a basketball court, a football ground, and even sports like smash and pickleball. Food quality is average.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD holders. All teachers are helpful to students. The curriculum is very relevant for mass recruitment companies. Exams are easy to moderate. Almost all students pass. You need to score 12 marks out of 50 to pass.
Other: Campus life is very active, but maintaining 75% attendance is required. Though sometimes 60% is also acceptable for end-of-term exams.

Choose this college if JEE is not clear.
Placements: For placements, they are decent. If you are good with your skill building and academics, maintaining a good CGPA above 7.5 and working on real skills like DSA, projects, and internships (which I don't think they provide in abundance) can lead you to solid opportunities.
Infrastructure: Classes are good for B.Tech CSE students because a separate AI block has been made for these students. It has all AC, round tables, and smart boards. Overall, infrastructure is good. There are total 5 blocks in our college (A, B, C, AI block, and hostel block (boys). Girls hostel is outside the university, near knowledge park in GCET campus for which they provide buses. There is an IOS development lab too which is provided by Infosys and Apple itself. One of the best parts is the dedicated AI block, which is a big plus-fully air-conditioned classrooms, round tables for better interaction, and smart boards. Overall, infrastructure is average.
Faculty: As a current student, I would say Galgotia University is an average college overall. But it offers a fairly good experience for B.Tech CSE students. Faculty wise it's a mixed bag. Some of them are good while almost everyone is below aversge or average which is pretty common in private college to be fair.
Other: It conducts a great fest. Overall, it has big crowd (majorly Jaat, Gujjar, and Biharis). Clubs and societies are there.

Amazing college and everything is wonderful.
Placements: Here in my college we regularly get professional guidance on what the industry needs and what the students need to do to land a high-paying job in this difficult market. The professors are very supportive and highly skilled and they teach and support every aspect. The placements I see of my seniors are very impressive unlike other colleges that just make claims of good packages. Galgotias University brings in the action. More than 90 percent of students got placed and more than 70 LPA packages are also acquired by students while an average package of 12 LPA. Many MNCs visit for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in this university is marvelous. It is actually very good, well-designed, and beautiful. There are comfortable classes and buildings with high-speed Wi-Fi. There are multiple charging points at every table. Classes have multiple screens, which helps every student to look at what is being taught. It has a fully centralised AC, which actually saves the day.
Faculty: The teachers are very skilled, polite, and helpful. They help a lot with everything. The course design is also amazing it does not put a burden on us students and the exams are designed gracefully. The semester exams are not very hard if you study right. This is great.

Galgotias University review.
Placements: In our college, 82% students have been placed, and around 32% students got internships. The highest package offered is 60 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the minimum is 3 LPA. The top companies for our course are JP Morgan, LinkedIn, Samsung, Google, Microsoft, and the role of a software engineer is offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good for our course. There are high-tech classes in which every class has ACS and Wi-Fi available. Classrooms are very good. Even the library is very nice for studying. The hostel is also nice and clean, but the mess food is not too tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, and they are very helpful to students. They also teach good but some teachers are not nice to students. The curriculum is completely relevant, it makes students ready for their industry exposure. Semester exams are very easy, you can clear them by studying one day before.

I don't know much about GCET, but I'm doing B.Tech CSE at Galgotias University. From my experience, GU has many labs, practical courses, and Centres of Excellence where students can get hands-on learning. The university also focuses a lot on workshops, clubs, and extracurricular activities.
