My loving experience at my university.
Placements: Many of my seniors get placed with nice industry-standard placement packages in reputed companies. Top companies include Infosys, HCLTech, Capgemini, and Josh Technology. The roles range from middle to high hierarchy fresher positions. Many of them also get internships.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms in the Micro and Department are very nice. They have all facilities, including good Wi-Fi, advanced systems, and good faculty. The hostel facilities are also good, providing fresh and clean water, proper hygiene, and 24/7 electricity.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. They use effective teaching methods to teach students and prepare them for the market. The course curriculum is relevant for the emerging AI era. Semester exams are balanced with moderate difficulty and proper understanding.

Placements: The highest package is 60 LPA, while the average package is around 5.4 LPA. The roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE), QA Testing, Web Developer, and other jobs for B.Tech CSE students. More than 90% of students get internships. The top roles are SDE, Web Developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel is fully equipped and has all facilities. It includes Wi-Fi and common rooms. The sports facilities are also very good. It covers a wide variety of sports and equipment. You can play football, cricket, pickleball, table tennis, and many other games in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are great and helpful. The course is relevant and is up to current industry standards. The classrooms are fully digital, with real-life learning as the motto, which improves students' morale and communication skills. The semester exams are not very difficult. The pass marks required are 40%.

Nice infrastructure, but a lack of management and placement is decent.
Placements: Placements at Galgotias University are not very strong, as most companies coming to campus are for sales profiles, even for B.Tech students. So placements are not very strong here. Core technical opportunities are quite limited, and only a few students manage to secure a tech job in an MNC.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure at Galgotias is excellent, with modern classrooms, libraries, and labs. However, the hostels are just decent, offering basic facilities but not up to the mark. But you can choose between the hostels. I never lived there, so I don't have much of an idea, but most of my friends told me that it is the worst hostel campus a university can have.
Faculty: Faculty at GU is a mix of experienced and fresh teachers, having good teaching skills, while some only focus on theory. The curriculum is updated, but I think it can be more practical. Exams are not that difficult, students can easily score above 70 by studying overnight.
Other: If you want the best infrastructure, then go for it. But the crowd is the worst there. Mostly local and uncivilised people with only the mindset to get into a fight, but if you only want to study, then this university is not for you.

My Honest Review about Galgotias University.
Placements: Placements are good, and there are a lot of companies coming to campus for placements. Also, teachers provide a lot of support during that period. The management was really nice. Every company coming to campus is really good and offers great placements to many students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. Classes library, labs, and everything are very good in my opinion. There are pretty much labs for every department there from AI ML to cybersecurity to Mechanical engineering. That's one of the best parts of the college. There is also a newly built 3D printing lab to top it off. We also have IOS development Lab.
Faculty: Faculty members are decent and they help you. The course is also good and they start teaching you the core subjects for CSE like OS, DBMS, system design, and DSA early, so it really compounds over time and gives positive results for your hackathon guidance to placements. Faculty members do help you a lot, and they are very cooperative.

It has good placements with great infrastructure due to a large crowd. Competition is high here.
Placements: Galgotias University provides decent placements. The average package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. Around 70-80 percent of students got internships. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, etc. Top roles offered in my courses are software engineer, web developer, AI engineer, ML engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good. The infrastructure is good. The hostel provides 24-hour light and Wi-Fi connection. It has a fully secure environment. Libraries are also available from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The food quality is good. It provides food with pure hygiene. There are also 24x7 medical facilities in the hostel. There are multiple sports areas like cricket, football, basketball, badminton, chess, air hockey, pool, etc.
Faculty: Exams conducted in my course are good. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. If we face any kind of issues, we can directly contact them anytime. They are very supportive. The course curriculum is totally based on what the industry demands. Semester exams are not difficult. If we pay attention in class and do our assignments, and memorize everything, then it is very helpful during exam time.
Other: I chose this course because it provides me with a broad range of options for the future. It provides me with a lot of opportunities.

It has good exposure but an overcrowded course. There are decent placements and IIT faculty.
Placements: I am a student of the 2023-2027 batch at Galgotias University. In our course, around 50-65% of students got placed, but it's only up to us if we have skills, then we can easily grab it because more than 500 companies visit the college. The highest package offered is 39 LPA, but that student grabbed it off campus. On campus, the highest package is 25 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our department has decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi across campus, smart classrooms with leads, and a central library, and all these are air-conditioned. Sports grounds and indoor games facilities are good. Mess food is repetitive and not very tasty. The canteen is really good with better options. The Wi-Fi is usable, but sometimes not so fast due to a huge batch size.
Faculty: At Galgotias, many teachers are qualified and supportive, and we even have some from IIT, which is a big plus point. They usually explain concepts well, and there is also an application called WOO CLAP in which quizzes happen on the current topic explained by the faculty. The course curriculum is updated and somewhat relevant to the industry. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty and mostly come from classroom teaching, so with regular study, they're manageable.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest and for my defense exam. The best thing about the course is exposure to good companies and chances to build a tech career. However, I wish the course had more practical learning, core placements, and a smaller crowd. Our course has a very large student intake, which sometimes affects quality. There are a lot of extracurricular activities, more than 40 clubs, and many scholarship opportunities. It has more people. Events happen, but not regularly.

Very good university for engineering. The infrastructure and college environment are very good.
Placements: There were 1500+ students in the overall B.Tech branch. The average package was around 4 LPA. Both MNCs and startups hired students. More than 1000 students got internships, mostly in startups. For B.Tech and other courses like Journalism, BBA, B.Sc., and other branches. The university provided placements across different companies. However, due to the large number of students, some also applied off-campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library were all good with AC implemented. Environment was fantastic. The quality of hostels, mess, canteen, and sports facilities were very good.
Faculty: All teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry-ready. Semester exams were a bit difficult, so proper preparation was needed. The pass percentage was around 50–60%. Teachers were very helpful and understanding. They cleared doubts properly and sometimes even provided attendance support in special cases, such as late buses or emergencies, with valid proof.
Other: I chose this course because I had Science in 11th and 12th. One improvement could be removing the extra first-year subjects like Biology, Physics, and Maths, which are not required for placements. There were many events, a good campus environment, good connectivity, and extracurricular activities. Scholarships were also available.

Excellent infrastructure, campus life, but average placement.
Placements: B.Tech 2026 placements are going well. The average package is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the highest is 44 LPA. The placement percentage is around 95% to 98%. Around 4,700 offers have already been made this year. Top recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and others. Approximately 80% of students secure internships with top companies like American Express, Adobe, and Cisco.
Infrastructure: University has a very beautiful campus with all facilities you can think of. It has good labs, an iOS development center, a gym, Wi-Fi, and a library. It also has AC classrooms, a sports room, a basketball court, a football ground, and even sports like smash and pickleball. Food quality is average.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD holders. All teachers are helpful to students. The curriculum is very relevant for mass recruitment companies. Exams are easy to moderate. Almost all students pass. You need to score 12 marks out of 50 to pass.
Other: Campus life is very active, but maintaining 75% attendance is required. Though sometimes 60% is also acceptable for end-of-term exams.

I don't know much about GCET, but I'm doing B.Tech CSE at Galgotias University. From my experience, GU has many labs, practical courses, and Centres of Excellence where students can get hands-on learning. The university also focuses a lot on workshops, clubs, and extracurricular activities.
