This college is good for computer science students.
Placements: Placements were good for CS students, but not very good for other branches. Placements for mechanical were not good as none of the students was allowed to apply for placements after they get placed in one company. However, the placement process is good here, but information regarding companies was provided late. Companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, Cognizant, Vivo, etc., visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are well designed, and there are air-conditioners in rooms, but they don't work in all rooms. Teachers rooms are near to the classrooms so that you can approach them at any time. Labs are good, but you have to take the initiative to study. Washrooms are also good, and the hostel is also located nearby the college. Our college infrastructure is better than university infrastructure.
Faculty: All the teachers are good, and they have the required knowledge to teach all the students. They are friendly, but they don't provide a proxy. They are always ready to help, so take the initiative and ask them all doubts in their rooms or the class. But deans are not very good.
Other: Events organised in our college are good, but you never get scholarships here.

Satisfied with the four years spent at this college.
Placements: Placements of the university are good considering the prevailing job scenario for B.Tech graduates in India. Most of the companies that visited campus were of the IT sector. Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant were the mass recruiters that visited the campus. They allowed students from all streams to appear in their placement examinations, and they selected 120-150 candidates on an average. So most of our B.Tech batch got placed with these companies irrespective of their branch of engineering. They offered an average package of 3.25 lacs per annum and the role of a system engineer. Some mechanical companies also visited the campus and offered jobs of sales profiles with an average package of 2.25 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated. The library has a good collection of books. Students can issue any book for a period of 14 days. Computer labs are available and you can make use of them provided they are free. There are practical labs, and the equipment is in sound condition and can be used to perform practicals. Football and basketball courts are also available on campus, and day-scholars and hostlers can make use of them.
Faculty: Faculty are the best part that the university possesses. Faculty members here are from reputed organisations like IITs, NITs, etc. You can extract knowledge from them any time you want. They are extremely supportive, let it be the duration of exams, final year project or just any other common day.
Other: G-Quasar is the annual fest of Galgotias Educational Institutions. Every year, a celebrity will be the performer in this fest. The crowd is good; students come here from all over the Delhi-NCR region and Uttar Pradesh. It's a nice opportunity to make friendships over here which have potential to last for life. The campus is around 10 kilometres away from Greater Noida main area, Pari Chowk and connectivity is via semi-government bus services, autos and cabs. Galgotias has various clubs as well, like the literary club, quiz club, dance club, etc. to name a few.

What is the placement record for mechanical branch?

The placement record for mechanical branch is also good but being a part of lower core branch student have to work hard to get placed respective those of CSE Branch.

Is it tough to pass GEEE paper and get admission in Galgotia University? What happens if someone can't pass GEEE paper?

GEEE is not hard to pass. You just need to know your basic course material which you have studied in 11th and 12th grade. You can clear it easily and yes, you can get admission. Do apply.

How is mechanical engineering at GU?

They provide a good framework of subjects and curriculum but the students and the management sucks a lot here. They have well to do labs, Average exposure and better placements. Go for it if it's the last option.
