Candidates with a 2 year masters degree need at least 55% marks or a ‘B’ grade. Those with a 4 year Bachelors degree in research should have a CGPA of 7.5 out of 10 and one of these certificates like DBT-BET, ICMR-JRF, GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-JRF, ARS-NET or GPAT.Candidates who finished their masters degree in the (10+2) +3+2, (10+2) +4+2, or (10+2) +4 education systems can apply for PhD as per NEP 2020. Candidates with a one year masters degree after a 4year bachelors or a 5-year integrated master’s degree need at least 55% marks or a ‘B’ grade. This also applies if a different grading system is used or if the degree is from a recognized foreign university.
