Review of Galgotias University.

Placements: I was a post-graduate student in this college, and there were no placements for us. But for engineering students, tech giants visited the campus as soon as the year started. For postgraduates like me, there are enormous opportunities in research.

Infrastructure: Rooms in the hostel are spacious, but the food they serve is disgusting. Apart from that, sports and games are also available. There are good facilities for sports lovers. The girls' hostel has a gym. Only fast food is available on the campus.

Faculty: Professors were supportive and always encouraged me whatever I was good at. They were highly qualified and experienced. In fact, they guided me in my job hunt. With their sheer guidance, I got a job offer in KIET Ghaziabad as an assistant professor in the computer science and engineering department.

Other: The atmosphere before Covid was excellent. It is a peaceful campus enveloped in greenery. The library has all kinds of books which we can read there itself. Pin-drop silence is maintained in the library.

Review of Galgotias University.

Placements: Galgotias University is known for its placements, but the placements are good only for UG students, be it B.Tech, BBA etc. PG students are not even allowed to attend the placement drives. It is a good university with skilled faculty members. Companies like Infosys, Wipro and TCS visit the campus to offer placements.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in the college. Labs are not air-conditioned due to which students feel suffocated in the lab. Overall, the infrastructure is good, but there are only a few classrooms, and the number of students is high. The building is always renovated, and creativeness can be seen in the architecture.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are good and highly skilled. The course curriculum is up to date. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders with good command on basic subjects like DBMS, data structures, operating systems etc. As I am a CSE student, I will be able to review only the CSE branch. Students who want to do post graduation like M.Tech or PhD, I would like to recommend NIT to join because of the lack of resources in GU and also the guidance from the faculty members.

Other: Events are organised when film stars visit the campus to promote their film. Otherwise, there is no annual fest or fresher's party organised in the college. The campus crowd is average.

I hate this university, and I think I just got my post-graduation degree from this university.

Placements: Never expect placements from this university, because this university cheats its students. You can judge this university level after checking out its official website, where the M.Tech civil programme is just a copy paste of B.Tech programme. This university is only for business purposes and making money, not for making the future of their students. It is totally rubbish and non-trustable university ever. I think Amity University is much better than this fake university.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. They do not provide air-conditioning in classrooms. Grills of the stairs are broken, anybody can fall from it. Ventilation is not provided for fresh air, and networks are lost in classrooms. A strange smell is always there. Plants are needed to be planted in the university, but there is only dust and ground. Very poor infrastructure and poor facilities are available for students.

Faculty: The faculty members are always freshers. Because no faculty stays for more than one year in this university, because of the university management system. Faculty come to the class, and just provide notes and operate their mobiles in classrooms. If a student wants to apply for a leave for some days, then they are debarred from exam due to low attendance, even when they are maintaining their attendance above 75%.

Other: Parking is not secure, and no one from the management provides you clear information about any issues related to examinations. Everyone makes you move from one cabin to another. The main thing is nobody will support you in this university. At last, you will be charged something for all issues.

Review of Galgotias University.

Placements: There are no placements although the college promised about it. It is written in the prospectus that the big companies like L&T, Soma, and many other multinational companies come for placements, but none of them visited the campus. It is very disappointing.

Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure. Both inter and intra-college competitions are conducted periodically. There are various clubs, in which the students can show their talent. The campus has good greenery and environment.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated, and the maximum of them are from government institutions. They guide us in various extracurricular activities. They have vast knowledge about their subject. Their way of teaching is very good. They help students out of their way. They are very friendly with students.

This campus is very nice and good. Facilities, libraries and labs are very good.

Placements: After completing my master's degree, I am doing a job in academic sectors as assistant professor in automobile engineering department at Theem College of Engineering, Boisar, Maharashtra, India since July 2016. The salary offered is good. Every year has two semesters.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Classroom is very good. There are three libraries for different departments like engineering, management and law courses, and many study materials are available in the library for students, and no restriction for the students. They are given an id card to issue a book for reading, and the university provides every student with an individual id and password to login into university website portal for checking the attendance notices and libraries issued books and making complaints about any problems in the campus. Medical facilities are available for the students, and they have to provide different game coaches for the different playing teams. In university camps, there is a spacious field to play cricket, basketball, football, etc. Our university team participated in different university competitions.

Faculty: In the engineering department, every faculty member is a PhD holder, qualified and well-educated and well-knowledgeable in their relevant fields. The faculty is very helpful, supportive of moving forward and motivates the students to do best in the field.

Do not go for university,unless there is no hope

Placements: The placement depends on the quality of the knowledge you represent to the firm. HCL and Infosys are mostly heard to be recruiting for the IT groups, hence it is excellent for the IT students. Whereas, there is a struggle for the civil, mechanical and electrical branches. As heard by our seniors in M.tech, I believe we should be lucky to have a company visiting for M.Tech freshers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite impressive if you leave out the non-working ACs. The labs have sufficient equipment and are used as per the requirements. The library is very impressive as they have all the books and also you can find the e-books in the digital library. But, the hostel rooms are very congested and you will need to manage in the hostel. The canteen is good enough and available up till 3 AM here.

Faculty: The course curriculum is extensive and it is easy to gain the required knowledge. The only problem is the attendance as you have to maintain it to 75% else you will be debarred and then it means your summer holidays just went to waste. Then, a pretty big fine to pay for it as well as you would have to attend the classes of the subject you are debarred in during the whole summer vacation. The faculty team here is quite supportive.
