Students of Civil Engineering Participates in Megalith, 2020
March 2, 2020: Final year student Abhisekh Kumar Dubey of Civil Engineering Department, GIET University represented the University at Megalith, 2020. It is India’s largest annual technical fest conducted by the Civil Engineering Department of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT). The two-day event was organised between February 29-March 1. Abhishek was honoured for his outstanding performance at the event.
Megalith has achieved considerable popularity in the engineering and corporate sector since it’s inception in 2009.

Placements: GIET has decent placement. The highest package is 23 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and other startup companies. Around 90 percent of students got internships in our course in different companies like Wipro, TCS, and others. Placement plays a top role in our course.
Placements: GIETU has provided a 70 percent placement ratio. The highest package is around 20 LPA, the lowest package is around 2 LPA, and the average is unknown. Most companies that visit for placement are Tata, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Accenture, etc. 90 percent of students got internships from our course in different companies. This course plays a top role.
Placements: GIET is the best college in Odisha, but it does not provide good placement. 70 to 80 per cent is a placement guarantee in our course. The highest package is around 25 LPA, the average is 3 to 5 LPA, and the lowest is not well-known. Top companies visit for campus drive, but no guarantee of getting placed. Students have a chance to get an internship every semester, and the percentage of students from our course getting an internship is 90%.

The highest package of this college is 30 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA, but the average is 5 LPA. The top-visited companies are Tata, Wipro, Accenture and Tech Mahindra. 80% students got internships in different companies. The CSE department is playing a top role.
