Placements: 80 percent of students are placed in MBA marketing, and another one started preparation for the banking exam based on MBA marketing. The highest package is 8 lakh per annum and the lowest package is 3 lakh per annum; the average is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Gujarat Gas Limited, HDFC Bank, etc.

Infrastructure: There are all the facilities available in college, like free Wi-Fi, highly-equipped labs, a classroom with projector and a full-AC-fitted room. The hostels are very decent according to the hostel fee they charge, with 1 room allotted to 4 students. The water supply is good in the hostel, but the hostel food is not too good.

Faculty: All faculty members are very helpful in study and in any personal life query for career growth. The semester exams are at a moderate level. Students can prepare for the exam very easily by reading books suggested by their teacher. This course prepares students well for the corporate world.

Other: I chose this course to pursue my career in marketing in a bank as a marketing officer, as selected by the IBPS SO exam. In university, there are lots of events, such as a festival held in a good auditorium and PMS scholarships provided to SC students.

Review of GJUST - Guru Jambheshwar University of Science And Technology.

Placements: Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, is one of the premier education centres in the region. The training and placement cell takes care of training and campus placements of students. The cell is equipped with appropriate infrastructure to execute the placement process. Arrangements for pre-placements talks, written tests, group discussions, interviews, etc., are handled by the staff at the office in coordination with the respective departments. The placement activities are handled by the placement cell, which includes final year students from different departments under the guidance of the director. Every department has a T&P committee, consisting of the chairman of the department, a teacher as T&P advisory and 2-3 student volunteers. There is one T&P council headed by Vice-Chancellor.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and services of the institution play a major role in the overall growth of students. Proper infrastructure and facilities help students to learn and improve themselves. Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, has developed technology and management education to create diverse, internationally standardised human resources with the capacity to address new challenges. The infrastructure and facilities include hostels in the GJUST. 4 hostels are reserved for boys. Hostels are assigned to students on the basis of space availability. All hostels have better infrastructure, including electric geysers, water coolers etc. Both hostels also have mess and canteen facilities that provide quality and hygienic food to students. Wardens are also available in each hostel to keep the guidelines and restrictions in the hostels. CCTVs and security guards are there to maintain stability inside the building.

Faculty: The course is designed in a way that students get ready for the industry because the subjects included are most relevant to the course. The teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable and well qualified. There are many PhD holding teachers in our college, and every teacher is careful, helpful and knowledgeable. Students from departments of all subjects are active in academic, cultural events, fests, exhibitions and classes.

Other: The best thing about this course is our college provides time for us to gain practical knowledge. But I wish that our college could provide some more time in our course for practical knowledge. It is an awesome college with excellent infrastructure.
