GLS University offers a 4-year full-time Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering (B.Tech (CS&E). The programme has been specifically designed to prepare students for careers in computer programming, full-stack development, web design and development, game development, quality analysis/testing, blockchain development, AI/ML engineering, data science/data analysis, academia, software engineering, and software architecture. GLS University in Ahmedabad offers a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering program. The programme is four years long and is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) . GLS University has computer laboratories that host more than 250 high-end workstations with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS client machines. Two MAC labs with 90 machines are also available on campus for the students to perform practicals on iOS. GLS University aims to develop technically competent graduates with internationally competitive skills well-suited to the international jobs and assignments of today and the future. The prime focus is to bring internationalization by fostering globally connected research and scholarship.
The university offers MSc in IT programme at the PG level. However, to get admission for MSc programme, the aspirant have to be Graduate in Computer Science/Computer Applications/IT/Engineering or Technology or equivalent or Bachelor's Degree in Science (Maths, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics) or any bachelor's degree + Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from UGC recognised University.
GLS University offers a number of courses including BSc, and admission to the university is merit-based for most courses. For a few courses, applicants need to qualify an entrance exam. For example, applicants to MBA and MCA must appear for the CMAT entrance exam to be eligible for admission to the course. Students are offered admissions based on the scores of GLS Research and Aptitude Test for Ph.D. programs.
The CMAT admit card will be available for download until the exam day. They link for downloading it will be removed after the exam is over. It is advised that candidates download their CMAT admit cards as soon as it is released so that they have ample time to check their test centre location.
