Goa University BSc seat allotment is based on marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 examination. The BSc programme is offered through various affiliated colleges and institutions of the University. The total seat intake for the BSc programme offered at various affiliated colleges and institutions of Goa University is 975. Candidates need to apply online on the official website of Goa University for UG and PG programmes. The university shortlists candidates for PG programmes based on GU-ART conducted by the university. For MBA admission, the university accepts CMAT/ ATMA scores. For UG courses, the selection is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates might need to come for personal interview round for some of the courses. The university releases its merit lists of the selected candidates for various courses. Shortlisted aspirants need to pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Goa University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. For admission to PG courses, the university conducts its in-house entrance exam, i.e.,  GU-ART, GU-QET-, GU-CLAT, etc. or accepts national-level exams such as CMAT/ ATMA for a course like MBA.
