The fee structure for B.Tech courses varies according to the stream chosen. The university offers 59 specializations in B.Tech. A total number of 3826 are offered for B.Tech courses. The fee range starts from INR 6,000 and can go up to 3.1 Lakhs for the whole course. With the tuition fee, there can be charges including hostel fee and necessary one-time payment, which may vary according to the course.  One is advised to check Shiksha's official page for detailed analysis. 

Yes, even for a fresher, GTU is great. The faculty and seniors support the freshers in the best possible manner. Also, the university provides every possible support to students. For freshers, there are various events arranged by the university such as Fresher's party, class lunch, and others. 

Yes, GTU Ahmedabad does offer seat reservations for BPharm courses. The university reserves seats mainly for SC, ST, EWS candidates, etc. Check out the percentage of seats reserved for the course in the table below:

• Scheduled Castes: 7%
• Scheduled Tribes: 15%
• Socially and Educationally Backward Classes: 27%

The last date to apply for GUJCET 2026 will be mentioned on its official notification PDF. The GSEB also extends the GUJCET 2026 application form last date. The link to fill GUJCET Application form was available on the website gujcet.gseb.org and gsebservice.com.

UGAT registration form was released online and the application window was open till June 2025. The application schedule is announced on the official website of UGAT. The AIMA UGAT application process begins with the UGAT registration and application fee payment. Candidates need to submit their UGAT application form before the deadline.

Candidates will have to choose their preferred institutes they wish to apply for their course through the UGAT score. Candidates will be eligible for admission to only those institutes that they had selected in the UGAT application form. 

Talking about the top companies at GTU,
It isn't that good kind of they don't offer a good amount of packages on our campus.

According to last year's stats, More than 70% of students got placement but at good packages.

The top companies for us are : 
TCS, Federal Bank, and Cognigent.

Most of them offers upto 5lpa.

The highest package offered to BBA graduates at GTU Ahmedabad has not been officially released. However, as per the reviews of students and alumni of the BBA course of GTU and affiliated colleges, they have given feedback for the highest placement package. The highest placement package ranges from INR 5 Lacs to INR 10 lakh. 

Yes, candidates can join BSc courses at GTU Ahmedabad without relevant scores in entrance exams. Because the university accepts valid scores from Class 12 and releases the merit according to those scores. Therefore, an entrance exam is not compulsory to get admissions into BSc courses. However, colleges affiliated with GTU Ahmedabad might accept the relevant scores of entrance exams for admissions to BSc courses. 

Yes, you can take dierect admission in B.Tech at Gujrat Technological University. It depend on you wether you take admission with 12 th score or entrance exam. If you take admission with JEE Mains score, you will be given admission based on the cutoff which  will be released according to the seats intake and applications. If you take admission with 12th score, you will be given admission by merit score. So yes, you can take dierect admission in B.Tech by 12th class score. A favorable score in your 12th will be required in order to get the admission without any problem.
