To get admission for BTech Lateral Entry at IP University candidates must appear for IPU CET. Lateral entry to BTech course is permitted for candidates with a Diploma or BSc Degree. The IPU CET syllabus is different for various courses. The candidates must check the syllabus before they start the preparation for IPU CET. If candidates have objections related to IPU CET 2026 questions or answer options, they can only submit them through an online "Objection Link" provided on GGSIPU website. Details regarding this link will be communicated to all candidates who have attended online examination via their registered email IDs and mobile alerts. Objection submitted after deadline will not be considered.

The candidates must upload a recent colour photograph with the specified size and format requirements. The photograph does not require attestation.
Candidate will receive User ID and Password for IPU CET Computer Based Test (CBT). They will receive it 10 minutes before examination starts. Candidates must enter Login ID and Password provided at examination centre to open Computer Based Test. Candidates must check name and photograph displayed on computer screen are correct.
The IPU CET application form is expected to be released in February 2026. The last date to apply for the exam will be in April 2026. The application fee must be paid while submitting the application form.
