The admission to IPU BA LLB will be done based on the merit of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). CLAT is conducted by National Law University‘s on a rotational basis. Candidates seeking admission to BA LLB course must meet the eligibility criteria. It is a 5 years duration course. The University shall not conduct IPU CET for admission. To apply for admission, candidates must fill IPU CET 2021 application form using the correct details.

IPU 2021 BA LLB Eligibility Criteria

Check the eligibility criteria for IPU BA LLA 2021 admission below:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject
  • Candidates must have obtained minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
  • Candidates must have qualified CLAT – UG 2021
  • There is no age limit, subject to notification of Bar Council of India or the Hon‘ble court(s) before the commencement of counselling / admissions

A. A candidate should have completed three years diploma in the concerned subject and obtained 60% marks.

A. IPU CET is conducted only one time in a year for the admission of the candidates.

A. The code of BTech LE (diploma) – 128, BTech LE (BSc) – 129, BTech (Biotechnology) – 130, and BTech – 131.

Q. What a candidate can do if he/she wants to apply for more than one CET?

A. Such candidates have to fill a separate application form for each CET.

Q. Is IPUCET for law course cancelled?

A. Yes, GGSIPU no longer conducts entrance exam for law courses i.e. BA LLB and LLB. The university only conducts IPUCET counselling for law courses on basis of CLAT exam scores/ merit rank.

Yes, you can edit the IPU CET application form after submission, but only during the official correction window provided by GGSIPU. Edits are allowed in limited fields, and once the correction period is over, no further changes can be made.
