Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will carry out IPU CET 2021 MEd admission process. The admission will be done based on the candidates’ performance in Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPUCET). Master of Education (MEd) (CET code – 120) is a 2 years regular course. The questions will be asked from Teaching Aptitude, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning and English/Communication skills. Candidates interested in admission must meet the eligibility criteria. IPU CET 2021 MEd Eligibility Criteria

Only eligible candidates should apply for IPU MEd 2021 admission. The admission authority will not accept the application form of non-eligible candidates. Check IPU CET MEd eligibility criteria below.

  • Candidates must have completed any of the following programmes – BEd, BA BEd, BSc BEd, BElEd, DElEd
  • Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks

IPU CET 2021 MEd Admission Procedure

The admission process comprises of various stages such as fill application form, download admit card, appear in exam, result declaration and counselling.

  • Step 1: Fill application form– The registration process will be carried out online for the eligible candidates. Candidates must submit fill the application form with the correct details otherwise their application will be liable for rejection.
  • Step 2: Admit card download – The admit card will be issued online and candidates can download it by using their login credentials. The admission authority will not share the admit card through email, fax, post, etc.
  • Step 3: Appear in IPU CET – Candidates must appear and qualify the exam for the admission. The exam schedule will be updated later.
  • Step 4: Result declaration – The result will be declared online for the candidates who will participate in the examination. The result will released in the form of rank list.
  • Step 5: Counselling – The admission authority will conduct counselling for the shortlisted candidates. Candidates must take part in the counselling as per the scheduled date and time.

Q. What is the eligibility criteria to apply for IPU CET BTech?

A. A candidate should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics scoring a minimum 55% marks and also studies English as core/ elective/ functional subject.

Q. What is the eligibility criteria to apply for IPU CET BTech diploma lateral entry?

A. A candidate should have completed three years diploma in the concerned subject and obtained 60% marks.

Q. What is the eligibility criteria to apply for IPU CET BTech BSc lateral entry?

A. Candidates should have passed BSc with Mathematics with 60% marks from a recognized University.

Q. How frequently IPU CET exam is conducted in a year?

A. IPU CET is conducted only one time in a year for the admission of the candidates.

Q. What is the code of BTech, BTech LE (diploma), BTech LE (BSc), and BTech (Biotechnology)?

A. The code of BTech LE (diploma) – 128, BTech LE (BSc) – 129, BTech (Biotechnology) – 130, and BTech – 131.

Q. What a candidate can do if he/she wants to apply for more than one CET?

A. Such candidates have to fill a separate application form for each CET.

Q. Is IPUCET for law course cancelled?

A. Yes, GGSIPU no longer conducts entrance exam for law courses i.e. BA LLB and LLB. The university only conducts IPUCET counselling for law courses on basis of CLAT exam scores/ merit rank.

Yes, you can edit the IPU CET application form after submission, but only during the official correction window provided by GGSIPU. Edits are allowed in limited fields, and once the correction period is over, no further changes can be made.

No, digital copies are not accepted. You must carry a printed hard copy of the IPU CET admit card to the exam centre along with a valid photo ID. Without the printed admit card, entry into the examination hall will not be permitted.
