IPU CET MPT 2021 is a national level common entrance test to facilitate admissions in the postgraduate level programme in Physiotherapy. The conducting body GGSIPU offers 30 seats in different disciplines. ISIC Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, New Delhi is the Institute affiliated with GGSIPU which conducts the master level programme. MPT (Neurology), MPT (Musculoskeletal), MPT (Sports) and MPT (Cardiopulmonary) are the branches offered by the GGSIPU and the duration of the course is 2 years. 

IPU CET MPT 2021 Highlights

Below are the quick highlights of the Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) programme offered by the GGSIPU. 

The national-level entrance exams will be concluded after the successful conclusion of the various events such as the application form filling, release of admit card and others. Below are the important dates of the events:   

• Candidates should have passed the Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme (BPT) of four and a half years duration (including internship) with 50 per cent in aggregate from a recognized University
• Or candidates should have either passed in Bachelor of Physiotherapy/BSc (Physiotherapy) of three and a half years duration (including internship) with 50 per cent in aggregate and bridge course of one year with 50 per cent marks from a recognized University 
• The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 35 years

IPU CET MPT 2021 admission process involves a set of events and proper participation of the candidates is required to conclude the admissions. Below are the steps of the admission process: 

Step 1: Fill the IPU CET MPT 2021 Application Form

To start the admission process, first candidates have to register themselves before filling the actual application form. The application form requires personal details, academic details and a passport size photograph along with the scanned image of the signature, The candidates should also ensure to pay the application fee. 

Step 2: Download IPU CET MPT 2021 Admit Card

Candidates have to download the IPU CET MPT 2021 admit card which is required to be produced in the form of hard-copy at the centre on the day of examination to access the entry into the examination hall. The IPU CET MPT 2021 admit card can be downloaded online from the official website of the GGSIPU by providing the application number and password.

Step 3: Appear for IPU CET MPT 2021 Entrance Exam

GGSIPU will conduct the national level entrance exam and candidates have to appear for the exam in order to seek admission into the MPT programme offered by the ISIC Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, New Delhi. 

Step 4: Check IPU CET MPT 2021 Result

IPU CET MPT 2021 result will be declared on the official website of the GGSIPU via online mode. Candidates have to login to their accounts using their credentials to access their individual results and are advised to take a printout of the same to be used during the counselling and other processes.

Step 5: Appear for IPU CET MPT 2021 Counselling

Candidates whose names have been mentioned in the merit list will be invited for the counselling and the seat allocation process via the online mode. The verification of the documents is likely to be done during the counselling process. 

Step 6: Fee and document submission to confirm admission

After the successful allotment of the seat, candidates have to submit the required fees (admission and tuition fee) along with the pre-requisite documents and undertakings. The candidates will be provided with the dates to attend the classes after completing the formalities.

The IPU CET MPT 2021 Application is now available on the official website of the GGSIPU. The application form filling process is completely online and requires personal and academic details. The IPU CET MPT 2021 application will only be considered complete and will be accepted by the GGSIPU after the payment of the application fee. Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 1200 for the final submission of the IPU CET application form.

What to carry on exam day?

IPU CET 2019 is conducted in offline mode. Candidates must carry a blue/black ball-point pen to mark answers in the OMR sheet. Besides knowing what to carry, it is important to know what should not be carried inside the exam hall. Any paper or document other than the admit card is not allowed inside the exam hall. Apart from this, gadgets like calculators, electronic watches should not be varied inside the exam hall.

Documents Need to Carry

Admit Card: IPU CET admit card is an important document to be carried to the exam centre. Candidates who are unable to produce a printed copy of the admit card will not be allowed to take the test.  

ID Proof: Along with admit card, candidates are also advised to carry an original photo ID proof to the IPU CET exam centre. Documents such as a driving license, aadhar card, PAN card, the ID card can be carried as ID proofs.
