IPU CET question paper will include 100 questions. Each question will have four answer options. Candidates must choose correct answer from options given. Question paper is for 400 marks.

Q:   What is the marking scheme of IPU CET examination?
A: 

In IPU CET for each correct answer, four marks will be given, and for each incorrect answer, one mark will be reduced. There are no marks deducted for unanswered questions. Examination is conducted for 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates must know the marking scheme before attempting exam.

There are 100 objective type questions in IPU CET question paper. One question will carry four marks. There is negative marking where one mark will be reduced for every wrong answer.

IPU CET question paper will include a total of 100 objective-type questions. Each question will carry four options, out of which only one option will be correct. Candidates are required to mark correct one on OMR sheet. The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology for BTech (BioTechnology). A: 

Candidate wants to apply for more than one CET, they must fill separate application form for each IPU CET. IPU CET 2026 application process for various UG and PG courses will be available from February 2, 2026 to March 31, 2026. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be able to fill out the application form. To participate in the examination and admission process, the IPU CET application form 2026 has to be filled out with the correct details only.

Candidates must fill name, Aadhar number, parents' name, date of birth, caste category, gender, qualifying exam details, nationality, religion, mobile number and email ID. After filling in details, candidates must upload the photograph and signature.

IPU CET registration fee is INR 2500. The fee can be paid online. After registration, candidates will receive unique ID and Password. Candidates must use these login details to open application form. Candidates can fill IPU CET application form after registration.
