I am dissatisfied with the curriculum of the college.
Placements: No such companies and industries come to our university to give us internships and placements. All students are preparing to go to Canada and other places in the world, and the rest are preparing for government exams. There is no placement given to students by the college.
Infrastructure: Our department of food technology is very vast. The facilities provided by the college need improvement, and the quality of food provided by the mess is good, but not hygienic. Sometimes students protest, and the college does not take any action against them.
Faculty: Students did not get any placements or internships. The difficulty level of semester exams is not very hard; it is easy to moderate, but still, we passed it easily. The passing percentage in semester exams is about all students passing, except for a few.
Other: Events are not organized; a freshers' party is also not given by the college, and a small farewell party is organized by the students, not by the administration.

I was satisfied with the hostel and teachers but dissatisfied with the placements in 2022.
Placements: No student from our department was placed in 2022. Haldiram came for placements but it only chose B.Tech., and no other company came for placements due to COVID. Most students arranged their jobs through their references. The average salary offered was Rs. 2500 per month to Rs. 3,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Diageo, Haldiram, ITC, NUTASTE, etc., visited our campus. Internships were mostly provided by our teachers because they had strong references in MNCs. About 10 to 15 students interned at Wave Beverage in Amritsar and 7 to 9 students interned at Verka in Amritsar in the QC department.
Infrastructure: Our college had average infrastructure and lab facilities. Our college building was old. They had high-quality main equipment like an extruder, an RVA, etc. The basic facilities were not available. Our labs were too small. There was no proper management. The conditions were unhygienic and students were not given enough beakers. Our university library was huge, well-known, and equipped with good facilities. The hostel faculty members were too good. They were not too strict. Entry timing was until 9 PM. The mess food was excellent. Each hostel had its excellent canteen. Sports facilities were not available at the hostel. Only an open gym was provided. Medical facilities were available. They would help students in case of emergency.
Faculty: Our teachers were well qualified. They were well known for their teachings, published papers, and research work. They helped students who needed help with their studies, but some teachers were too strict. The teaching quality was average. The course curriculum was relevant to the industry. Instructors were well experienced in the industry, so they made students ready for industry and Ph.D. work mainly through thesis work. Semester exams were difficult. If students worked hard, they would pass. The pass percentage was 33%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. This course will be in high demand in the future. The best thing I learned was the technology behind every product. The hostel life was very good during this course. Practical knowledge, industry exposure, and lab facilities should be improved. Jashan was the best festival, with students thoroughly enjoying the program. The campus and hostel life were excellent. Scholarships were provided only for SC and ST students.

My college scholarship is provided according to government rules and category-based provisions.
Placements: My college placement is very good. 89% of students are placed in internships or employment. The average salary offered was INR 16 LPA, with the highest being INR 22 LPA and the lowest being INR 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Nestlé, Britannia, and ITC. Moreover, about 83% of our students were offered jobs in renowned companies such as Hindustan Unilever and Amul, where they were offered roles such as dietician, nutritionist, and nutritionist.
Infrastructure: The college offers excellent services to our department, including well-equipped laboratories, classrooms with Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked library with up-to-date journals. The food in the mess is decent, though it could be improved in various ways. Sports facilities are available for indoor and outdoor play to contribute to the well-being of all students. There are also 24/7 dispensaries.
Faculty: The teachers in my department are good. They are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. All the doubts of the students regarding learning have been addressed. The curriculum is well-suited and facilitates preparation for competitive exams. Semester exams are difficult, but the pass rate is nice—86%.

Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar admission for the M.Sc. course.
Placements: This course was very difficult because there is only 80% of students passed the exam. Admission to this course required an entrance exam and a bachelor's degree with higher marks. Many companies provided internships for this course and the best salaries, like 3 LPA to 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: In this college, hostel facilities were not provided, but the college department provided many facilities like classrooms, a canteen, labs, a library, bathrooms, lifts, elevators etc. Facilities are available. In this college are canteen facilities were also good, and many varieties of food were available.
Faculty: In this course, faculty members was very strict and not good behaviour for the students. The course had a total duration of 2 to 3 years, including the KT exams. In this college, teachers were very good at teaching provide and were highly educated. This teacher were mostly Delhi University-qualified teaching provide.

I am saying to you, if you have a choice, then don't take this college.
Placements: There are no placement cell organized by the college, and in this college, there is no exploring segment like garden and other things. Here there is no office of the union, and the administration of my college is not fast. The course doesn't make us company-ready because there is no exposure.
Infrastructure: In my college, there is no practical organized by the department, and the labs for food technology are also not available. Classrooms are not smart with smart board, and a couple of students come to the library to have a conversation with each other. There is no atmosphere for a study.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, but they organize a lecture once a week. They are very well qualified and knowledgeable, but don't teach us properly. The difficulty level of the semester exams in my college is a game for students because students study at night and get the best SGPA.
Other: There is no best campus crowd in which we enjoy.
