Fabulous student life to be lived once.

Placements: There is no active placement cell in the college, but the name carries value, and people do consider a Pondicherry passout. However, attempts are being made, such as forming a group to share vacancies, and professors also help students secure positions if they approach them.

Infrastructure: The rooms are free for girls and ST boys. For other boys, it is only ₹1000 per year for a hostel room, which is shared with two other people. The rooms have Wi-Fi and 24/7 water supply. The mess food is not very good. The library and study rooms are quite good. There are also stadiums to play outdoor games, and an indoor tennis facility is available. There is a health center free of cost where students can go for medical issues, labs are good and spacious, and they are built amidst nature, which makes the campus even more beautiful.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified there, and they make the curriculum based on the needs of the food industry. They try to stay in pace with current trends. Even though if you need to score well, the passing percentage is not high, you have to score at least 33% to pass.

Other: The best part is university life, with each department always hosting events. Student life is quite vibrant there, and you can also explore Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Kanyakumari, Rameswaram, and other nearby places with your friends during semester breaks.

Very nice course and this is very unique.

Placements: Placements were good. Students were mostly placed on food industry and beverages industry. Before placements students were doing internships in Nestle, Amul, etc. The highest package offered was 4.2 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 2.6 LPA. Students were mostly placed on analysis of food department.

Infrastructure: It was a central university. Campus was good as nature all around the campus. Hostels were 3 seated. Mess food was slightly different from North Indian food. Wi-Fi was available all over the campus with CCTV security. There were different grounds for different sports. Classrooms were spacious and digitally updated. Labs were spacious and had all the apparatus used in industry.

Faculty: Faculty members were good. They were highly educated and experienced. They all had done their masters and Ph.D. The course was slightly unique and good. There were two semesters in a year. Each semester had two sessionals which were conducted by the college. In each semester, there were minimum of 30 experiments done on food analysis of different foods and beverages.
