Dissatisfaction in every field
Placements: For M.Tech there are no separate placements. Although they will allow M.Tech students in some companies mainly in the IT sector, there are negligible placements regarding M.Tech students. In my M.Tech course duration, only one company allowed M.Tech students and for teaching, no college prefers HBTI students.
Infrastructure: As a government college, the infrastructure is not good. The library facility is okay but they will not provide it 24-hours. Canteen and mess are okay and hostel rooms are not very good. Classroom conditions are very poor and dirty. Lab conditions are similar to classrooms as very few systems were working properly.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good but some are the worst. In my M.Tech course duration, I think 1 or 2 faculty members who taught us were good and knowledgeable but they took very few lectures. Some of them have seriously no knowledge and I don't understand how did they become faculty members. Many subjects are covered by guest faculty members as professors have no time for students.

Other: It is one of the oldest and prestigious engineering institutions of India. Although it is not same as its old glorious days but it still has name and respect everywhere due to its students. Now it has become a University and will start conducting as the same since session 2016-17.
For infrastructure, the college building is really old, although strong but still not attractive like modern day colleges. No Wi-Fi in the campus for now, except for computer science department but high speed LAN is available in all department.
Hostel facility is good enough for B.Tech first year students, but for later year and M.Tech students, hostels are far away from main campus and that too isolated. PGs and flats are available in nearby areas like Nawabganj, Azad Nagar etc.
Well qualified faculty members indulged in various research activities are available here but all guest faculty members are not good enough. Still one of the best colleges in UP.
Placement for B.Tech students is very good. Many big PSUs visit the campus every year and take students. Other big private companies also offer good packages. No placement for M.Tech students though.

Other: The campus is not very large area wise. In terms of safety this college is below 0. The canteen is too dirty, no Wi-Fi and no extracurricular activities. There are no hostel within the campus, but, 4 km away from campus. But yes, fee is less in comparison to other colleges. I won’t suggest anyone to join this college for a PG course.

In the written admission test there are two parts: one is MMA and the other is PQB.
In MMA there are 30 MCQ questions each carrying 4 marks from 10+2 level. According to me the level of questions is between JEE Main and JEE Advanced mathematics question paper. So prepare well. Any JEE Advanced book
