If you want to study seriously, you would definitely come to this place.
Placements: The college offers average to moderate placement opportunities. It has a strong emphasis on clinical exposure rather than high-paying corporate placements. Placements are better for nursing and physiotherapy students. Job security is higher, while BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology) offers moderate opportunities. Hiring is mainly in diagnostic centres.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is functional and healthcare-focused rather than focused on grounds and luxuries. The campus features specialized laboratories for pathology, microbiology, and biotechnology. Along with an attached hospital setup that gives nursing and paramedical students hands-on clinical exposure. It also has a computerized library with useful books, an auditorium, and basic transport services.
Faculty: Faculty and training quality are good. Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, focusing heavily on clear explanations, hospital postings, and lab work to make students industry-ready for healthcare and lab jobs. Exams are moderately difficult and require regular study. Most students pass easily, with an overall pass rate of around 80–90%. The passing criteria are 50% for paramedical health courses.
Other: If you are looking for serious study, definitely come to this college. But if you want to enjoy games and campus life, this is not for you.

Placement rate from 2023 to till date is very amazing. Companies are hiring students from college.
Placements: Placement rate is the best in this college. The highest package is 53 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA-7 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. The college is NAAC A+ accredited. It is the only college in Uttarakhand after IIT Roorkee. Companies like IBM, AWS, Deloitte, Jio, etc., hire students. Placement training is conducted by the experienced faculty members.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are all excellent. Cleanliness is also maintained everywhere. Hostel life is amazing. Every facility is provided. Food is also amazing. Medical facilities are also available. The courts are also available for sports and games.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable. The semester external examinations are difficult, but you can clear them if you study well.
Other: I chose this course because it has value for money. Now its craze is spreading across all the states. Fests are also held amazingly here.

Underrated university for management courses.
Placements:
In my senior batch, around 92 percent of the students got placed. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA, while the average package stood at 8.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are Tech Mahindra, Crecendo, Infosys, etc. Almost all the students were able to secure internships in various companies like Ultratech, KPMG, ONGC, Aditya Birla, and many more. The roles depend on the domains, finance students get different roles, marketing students get different ones, and so on.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is excellent. The classrooms are well-equipped with ACs, Wi-Fi, smartboards, projectors, etc. Whereas the hostels are also well maintained. They provide various services to hostellers like laundry, Wi-Fi, hot water, induction, fridge, security, etc. The mess food is decent and offers a variety of food, the menu can be modified on students' demand. Talking about sports, they have various clubs for sports-related activities and they also coach and mentor students for the same.
Faculty: The teachers or faculty members here are really supportive. They are well qualified and knowledgeable, and their way of teaching is also nice and interactive. The curriculum is very much relevant to today's industry standards, and it prepares students from the very beginning. The exams here are held quarterly, and internals are held weekly. They are not very difficult to pass, but you need to be genuine with your answers since they are evaluated by AI.
Other: The main reason for choosing this college was the ROI, the fees for my course are around 9 lacs and the placements that are being offered here are pretty decent. The only thing that I wish would improve is the frequency with which they take exams, as it becomes a bit difficult to manage sometimes. They have a lot of club events and activities, and they do have scholarships as well.

Absolutely gorgeous view, but I am not satisfied with the placement and teaching process.
Placements: If you ask me about placements, I would say to look for a better option. If you want to prepare for government exams, this college environment is the best.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of both the college and hostel is quite good. The food is also good. The mess facilities in some hostels are good and affordable. But they are provided based on rank, marks obtained in 12th class, and category-wise criteria. Otherwise, the food in the canteen is not very good. There is no strictness in the college.
Faculty: Some professors are good and genuinely help when needed. The course is good, but the placements at this college are not good. Semester exams are okay, not too tough and not too easy. Mid-term exams are also tough because you have to write a lot to score well. Professors do not come regularly, and very few of them teach properly.
Other: The campus location is very good and provides a peaceful environment. The place is very good.

Placements: 70 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 23 LPA and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Paypal and Amazon are recruiting companies. 85 percent of students got internships. Roles offered in our university are software development and Data analyst. Many companies hire students on the basis of their skills, but some companies prefer a CGPA of at least 6.5.
Infrastructure: Complete Wi-Fi services during college hours are available. Labs are fully functional. Classrooms are maintained and digitally handled. Library is very clean and silent, best for studies. Hostel facilities like mess, 24/7 light and water, and unlimited food are available. 24/7 medical facilities are available. They allow all students to play all types of games.
Faculty: Teachers in our university are helpful, and all faculty members are PhD holders. The quality of their teaching is excellent. Course curriculum is very relevant. They make students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exam is easy to moderate. The passing percentage is 40 percent.

I am deeply thankful to my faculty who have changed my life for the IT sector.
Placements: In my course this year 2024, around 90 percent of students got selected in very good companies like NIIT, Mircson Technologies, MS Ltd, Berg Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Axis Bank, and Bajaj. All the students have got the opportunity of placement in good companies like NIT and Bajaj. 60 percent of students have got the opportunity of internship along with placement. The salary package range for placements was between 3 LPA and 6 LPA, and for internship was between 2 LPA and 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms in our college campus are very good with digital boards, and the labs are also equipped with PCs, which have very good facilities, and our central library also works in both online and offline mode along with internet. The hostel here is also very good, which has very good rooms and study tables and chairs are also available for study. The electricity is available 24/7 and internet facility is also available. Very good food is available here in the canteen, which is available on a menu basis and on a daily basis.
Faculty: All the faculty of our college are UGC NET qualified and have three to four years of experience in the company, and all the teachers also have two to three years of teaching experience and have worked in various IT sector companies. The programme of our college is based on the curriculum of the Central University, and various innovative subjects are taught under NIBP. There is a strong focus on skill-based subjects.
Other: When I took admission to my college UCST, I was afraid whether I would understand the language or not or whether I would know how to write in English or not. My faculty has helped me a lot in improving my writing skills and in understanding the subject, and my doubts are cleared. Teachers of all subjects have solved it very easily. I thank all the teachers wholeheartedly.

HNB Garhwal University is an excellent choice for a budget-friendly BTech in ECE offering solid academics & experienced faculty. As a central university it lacks dedicated on-campus corporate placements for core electronics. It is highly recommended if you are focused on higher studies like the GATE

HNB Garhwal University is a decent, government-run Central University in Uttarakhand.
Pros: It holds prestigious NAAC 'A' grade. Fees are highly affordable making it great for budget-conscious students. The campus environment is beautiful & the professors are well-qualified & helpful.

HNBGU generally does not offer direct admissions for its programmes including MA Psychology. Students have to clear the admission process to get a seat. The university considers CUET PG scores. However, students can connect with the university to know more.
