The total tuition fee for Himachal Pradesh University B.Ed ranges between INR 19,200 and INR 2.4 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. • Aspirants need to complete bachelor's degree (Medical/ Non-Medical/ Commerce/ Arts) or master's degree in Science/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce or bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% aggregate or 5.51 CGPA or Grade B+ (45% aggregate or 4.51 CGPA for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped candidates) to apply for B.Ed course.
• SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped aspirants can also apply with 50% or 5.01 CGPA or Grade B in bachelor's in Engineering or Technology.

Himachal Pradesh University Shimla conducts an entrance exam for B.Ed admission. The minimum qualifying marks in the entrance test is 35% (53 out of 150). That means, aspirants must get at least 53 questions correct for getting admission to B.Ed programme. 

There is relaxation in the cutoff requirement for SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped candidates. There is 5% relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped candidates. Candidates need to get 30 questions correct out of 150.

The HPU MAT exam is an entrance exam conducted by the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU). This exam is conducted at university level for admission to MBA courses at HPU School of Business.

1. The HPU MAT is a computer-based test of two hours' duration with 200 questions. The HPU MAT exam is conducted once in a year.
2. The syllabus of the HPU MAT is similar to most management entrance test syllabuses, which include topics such as verbal ability, reading comprehension, quantitative ability, data adequacy, and data interpretation.
3. The exam application fee is INR 1000, and the language of the exam is English .

Himachal Pradesh University is recognised by UGC and NAAC. Also, HPU has a total of 7 institutes which include the Department of Evening Studies, HPU Business School, University Institute of Technology, HPU College of Business Studies, University Institute of Legal Studies, Institute of Tribal Studies, Institute of Vocational Studies. Since, it is a public state university, the programme fee is very less.
