Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, also known as HITS, was established in 1985 and is located in Kelambakkan, Chennai. It is a member of AIU and is accredited by the IAO, NBA,  and NAAC with an 'A' Grade. Further, it is a deemed-to-be University and is recognised by the UGC. At present, the university offers more than 100 courses in diverse streams such as Engineering, Management, Law, Humanities, Science, and more.
