HITS Course Admissions 2025 (Open): Eligibility, Selection Fees

Yes, Hindustan University conducts two entrance exams at the university level, i.e., HITSEEE and HITSCAT for all the UG and PG courses. The HITSEEE exam is popularly conducted for BTech admission and it is conducted in two phases. The HITSCAT exam is mandatory for the rest of the UG and PG courses. For PhD admission, the university accepts admission through UGC NET/ GATE valid score.

1. Go to the official website of Hindustan University and fill the registration form with required details and click the login to generate the login credentials.
2. A verification link will be given on the registered email id. Click on that link and to open the login page of the application form.
3. Fill the application form with required details such as personal and educational details and click on ‘Submit’.
4. Upload the scanned documents in the prescribed format.
5. Complete the application process by paying an adequate amount of application fee.

To apply at Hindustan University, students need to fill an online application form. During filling the form, they need to submit a set of documents. These are required for verification purposes. Some of the important documents to be kept handy are:

• Recent passport-size photograph in JPEG/JPG format (size should be between 100-200 KB)
• Signature in JPEG/JPG format (size should be between 100- 200 KB)
• Mark sheet of Class 10 and Class 12 in PDF format

Yes, HITS offers various scholarships to meritorious students and students belonging to SC/ ST/ EWS category. Recently, the institute also added scholarship schemes for the wards of Covid warriors. All Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science scholarship programmes are mentioned below:

1. SC/ ST Scholarship Government of India: Candidates, who belong to Tamil Nadu and have completed Class 12, are eligible for this scholarship. The annual income of the parents should not exceed INR 1 LPA. The candidates should not be in receipt of another scholarship/assistance from other sources. The scholarship can be renewed every year.
2. Merit cum Means Scholarship: The top scorers in Class 12 are awarded financial aid to pursue their higher studies in HITS. This scholarship is aimed at meritorious students from weaker sections.
3. Sports Scholarship: It gives special importance to the students who have excelled in sports over the years under its Sports Quota.
4. Dr Elizabeth Verghese Founder Scholarship: This scholarship has been instituted to empower girls with academic potential to pursue higher education and who are from lower-income families.
5. Merit Scholarship: The institute offers a tuition fee waiver for meritorious students.

The registrations for HITSCAT 2025 are expected to open soon for the MBA course admissions. Its application form is usually released in Dec as per the past years' date. Candidates should keep themselves updated with important dates to avoid missing out an important event.

The total fee for HITS Chennai MBA courses is cumulative of multiple components, such as security deposit, tuition fee, hostel fee, and more. Selected candidates have to pay admission fee amount after selection for seat confirmation. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science MBA tuition fee range from INR 1.2 Lacs to INR 4.3 lakh. Additionally, the one-time fee is INR 8,500 and the hostel charges range from INR 1.48 Lacs to INR 1.64 lakh. It must be noted that the mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body.
