ILSAT Counselling: The ICFAI Law School Admission Test is a yearly affair. The ILSAT exam is conducted online online and the selected candidates are invited for the Counselling. Candidates should note that ICFAI ILSAT Counselling will be conducted online. The ILSAT counselling will be conducted in phases (rounds). The candidates will be required to fill their Counselling registration form online and participate in the counselling. The candidates will be required to upload their documents based on the Counselling notification.
The ICFAI 2027 exam will be held online and the ILSAT 2027 applications will be out soon. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the scores achieved in the ILSAT exam. The institute will verify candidates' documents and shortlist them based on the merit list and the course's eligibility criteria. How to check ILSAT Result?
Candidates who have appeared for the exam must note that the ILSAT Result will not be hosted on any other website. To check the qualifying status in the law admission test, candidates can do these
- Visit the IFHE portal
- Click on ILSAT Result 2026
- On clicking the link, a new tab will open up with the result login page
- Candidates need to enter their login ID and password to check their qualifying status

ILSAT Counselling Process
There will be centralised counselling for the Law Courses offered by the ICFAI Law School. The candidates are selected based on the ILSAT exam. The ILSAT counselling i.e. seat allotment process for ILSAT 2026 will be as under:
Download PI Letter - Candidates who have qualified for ILSAT 2026 will be issued a Personal Interview Call Letter or shared a link to attend PI in online mode on their registered email address. Candidates need to cross-check their registered email ID for the same.
Appear for PI - As per the schedule shared with candidates, they need to attend the Personal Interview round. To be successful in PI round, candidates should follow all the guidelines, and prepare current affairs and GK for legal domain.
Pay the admission fee - After the PI round, candidates will be informed about their selection status. Once selected, candidates will be informed about the fee payment details and process on their registered email only. After the fee has been deposited, candidates will be confirmed for admission, and orientation programme and academic schedule will be shared by the college authorities.

Documents Required for ILSAT Counselling
Once candidates are issued a provisional admission letter, they need to report to the college as per the schedule. They also need to carry the original and self-attested copies of the documents:
- ILSAT Admit Card
- ILSAT Result/ Scorecard
- ILSAT Application Form (as submitted)
- Mark sheets and certificates of Class 10th and 12th
- Date of birth certificate/ Class 10th certificate
- Transfer/ Migration Certificates as issued by the last school attended
