STEP 1: IGNOU B.Ed Application Process 2025

B.Ed application at IGNOU is a completely online process. A step-by-step process of the IGNOU B.Ed application process is mentioned below:

Step 1.1: Open the admission URL (https://eportal.ignou.ac.in/entrancebed/)

Step 1.2: Complete the registration process (which creates ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’).

Step 1.3: The ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’ is informed through SMS and email.

Step 1.4: Re-login to the system using the ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’.

Step 1.5: Fill the application form online and upload a recent photograph (maximum size 100 KB in JPG format) and a specimen signature (maximum size 50 KB in JPG format).

Step 1.6: Read the declaration and check the ‘Declaration’ box.

Step 1.7: Preview the data and confirm details.

Step 1.8: Pay the application fee of INR 1,000 (non-refundable) via credit/ debit card/ net banking.

Step 1.9: Press the ‘Next’ button to see the form preview and take print/ save the filled-in application form.

STEP 2: IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam

For admission to this course, aspirants need to take the IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test. A merit/selection list can be published to declare the names of the candidates eligible for admission. Selected candidates become eligible for admission.

STEP 3: Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation

After selection, candidates can pay the admission fee amount to confirm their enrolment. The total tuition fee for the IGNOU B.Ed course is INR 55,000.
