IGNOU B.L.I.Sc Admission 2023

In the field of Library at the UG level, IGNOU offers a UG B.L.I.Sc programme. This one-year course (min. duration) has a maximum duration of two years. Check out all details regarding IGNOU B.L.I.Sc admission below:

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree with 50% and 45% aggregate for General and for the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH category, respectively
• Bachelor’s degree with a one-year diploma in Library Science
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of work experience in Library and Information Centre

Medium of instruction: English | Students can write assignments and TEE in the Hindi language also.

Duration: 1-2 years; offered in both January and July cycle of admission

Fee structure: INR 7,900 for full programme

About the course: The programme comprises nine courses of which five courses are having a practical component and four courses are theory-based courses. The programme is currently being offered in English medium only. However, the students can write their assignments and term-end examination in Hindi medium also. Step 2: In the next window, select ' Click here for New Registration'.

Step 3: Register online by adding all the required details. 

Step 4: Log in using the credentials created during the registration process, fill out the form, pay the application fee and submit it.
