It can be better regarding basic residential amenities and the placement scene.
Placements: Academic instructor, researcher in various STEM fields, and in companies like ISRO, DRDO, BHEL, HAL, which are nationally recognised. Students mostly decide to continue their higher studies in scholarship Ph.D. programs abroad, and mostly do their postdoc research there.
Infrastructure: Mess food is top-notch, with cuisines available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian for both North and South Indians. Regular fumigation is organized every week, and food quality is closely monitored. UG hostel facilities are sometimes compromised with a shortage of water and electricity, and impurities in water are found once in a while. Overall, it is average.
Faculty: The faculty is very approachable and is ready to clear the doubts and discuss stuff beyond the classroom. Teaching is in the Socratic style of discussion, inspired by the top colleges in the West. The curriculum is equipped with rigour to build the readiness of students to pursue a career in Science.

Indian Institute of Science College review.
Placements: Campus placement conditions had improved at IISc after the inception of the campus placement cell. The average package was around 25 LPA. Since most of the students opted for higher studies from IISc, you will see the placement percentage to be low. Personally, I am also going for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The college had the best infrastructure compared to the other colleges in the city. Wi-Fi was available all around the campus. Our classrooms were very clean. The library had good books. We had clean washrooms. The hostel did not have good things. The food was the worst. Sports were good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well-qualified, like Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality was good. The course made students industry-ready. Semester exams were more difficult than those at other colleges, but they helped build students. The passing CGPA was above 9.

Review of Indian Institute of Science.
Placements: Placement and job opportunities here are excellent. The total number of companies visiting for placements is much higher than any other college in the class. The list of companies includes LnT, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Jindal Steel, Wipro, TCS, A2Z Solutions, and the list goes on. There is a placement cell at the university that assists students in securing placements. They prepare students for upcoming opportunities.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum is very lucrative. As a student of accounts and tax, I was taught these subjects in great depth. Additionally, regular classes were held, which proved to be extremely helpful as we had just transitioned from school to college. Exams were held semester-wise, meaning we had internal assessments twice a year. The hostel infrastructure is rated 7 out of 10, the food 9 out of 10, hostel facilities 7 out of 10, gym facilities 8 out of 10, and strictness 5 out of 10. Some strict rules can make students feel aggressive.
Faculty: The faculty at this university is excellent, and all the teachers are highly skilled. They also provide extracurricular activities. All faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees, and they are very cooperative and responsible. The semester system is in place, which includes 2 CA tests in a single year and 2 semester-end exams each year. Every subject includes practical work, which encompasses assignments and projects.

The college has awesome infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The percentage of the students who are placed in my department is 75%. The highest package is 8 LPA, the average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Many reputed companies reach and collaborate with our institute for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The overall facilities and infrastructure available for our department are very good. The classrooms and labs are very clean and comfortable. Multiple sports and medical facilities are present. Wi-Fi facilities are also available. A vast collection of books are present in the library.
Faculty: The faculty members are very skilled and cooperative. They are very experienced and helpful. They use different kinds of methodologies for teaching. Our course is curriculum-relevant and many activities are conducted by the institute. The semester exams are not so difficult.

M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences - Batch of 2026
4.2
4Placements5Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The best research college in India, helpful professors, best classrooms, and other facilities.
Placements: Placements here are not that good as M.Sc chemical science is a very new course here. Placements here are as low as 10% (as most students go for PhD). The highest package is around 13 LPA. The lowest salary is 3 LPA. The average salary is 8 LPA. Most recruiting companies are battery related companies (last year 2 students got placed at Ola). Anyone willing to go for internships may apply to other institutes. Most likely, they got an internship in various educational institutes like IITs and IISERs. Top roles like you have to join a professor's lab for M.Sc. project in IISc where you will work professor on research.
Infrastructure: Classrooms here are really advanced. All the classrooms are like seminar halls. Wi-Fi has an average speed of 100 Mbps. Labs too are very advanced and JRD Tata library is very good. Library is open 24X7, except Sunday. Every student gets a single room here, we have 5 messes where we get food (2 non-veg and 3 veg). We also have two canteens. We have health center for medical purposes. Doctors and nurses are very kind here. For sports and games, we have gymkhana.
Faculty: Actually, the people who teach us in the classrooms are researchers first and professors next. They are highly knowledgeable persons. They encourage us to come to their lab and ask any doubts during the lecture time. The courses here are very relevant and makes the students industry ready. The main issue is the exams. You will be writing exams almost 1-3 times a week. Exam pressure is too much here. Sometimes it gets monotonous writing and preparing for exams every day. More than 99% of students clear without any supplement.
Other: I chose this course because this is the best research institute in India. The best thing about my course is that we learn relevant things. One thing that I think should get better is that I want less number of course papers for the completion of M.Sc. Events and fests are very good here. We have 2 fests each year, one is Pravega and another is Rhapsody. The campus is very green. There is no scholarship for M.Sc students currently.

It is the best research institute of India.
Placements: At IISC Bangalore, around 40% of the students got placements in the research program. This college provided average placement opportunities to our course students. The average package offered was 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were research and information departments. A superb percentage of students could get placed in my course, which was so good, it was 60%. The highest and the lowest packages offered for this course were between 20 LPA to 3 LPA. The percentage of internship students in this course was more than 50%.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in this course were so good. Wi-Fi, classrooms, as well as the library, were available for students. The quality of food made in this college was good. Medical facilities were available in the college. Sports and games were played in this course.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful in teaching, and they assisted with academics. The qualified teachers had Masters from reputed universities. They made students industry-ready. The semester exams were challenging to pass. The passing percentage was 34%. They provided more help. Teachers in my course were so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All teachers had great teaching quality. This course's curriculum was relevant, and students were ready for industry visits. The semester exam in this course was so easy, therefore, the pass percentage was 80%.
