IISc Bangalore MTech Courses & Fees 2024: Eligibility, Placements, Admission, Scholarship

Register online by clicking 'Register' Button on the official website of COAP. Carefully read all the instructions given in the COAP Information Brochure. Complete the  application in all respects. You will have to provide the following details: qualified GATE registration  number (s), Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile number. No changes are permitted once the  application is submitted and frozen. Please remember the login ID and password details for  subsequent login.

Not necessary. Depending upon the selection process, some participating Institutes may skip, some offer  release window (s) and offers may be released in any of subsequent window (s). Further, some institutes may operate additional round (s). For additional rounds, the procedure followed for offers will be described on the respective institute's website.

The minimum GATE score to get an admission into IISC Bangalore course-wise is tabulated below: 

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for admission to Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), and direct PhD programs in engineering, architecture, and related branches of science.

The eligibility criteria for GATE include passing a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology or basic Science from a recognised university, and meeting the specific eligibility criteria for the discipline you wish to pursue. Candidates from India and other countries can apply for GATE, but they must meet the eligibility criteria. The exam is conducted online and is offered in 30 subjects. GATE admit card 2025 was released on January 7, 2025 by IIT Roorkee online. For downloading the GATE 2025 admit card, candidates need to enter their enrollment ID and password. The admit card will contain the GATE exam date, time, candidates' details, the complete address of the exam centre and exam instructions. The direct link to download the GATE admit card will also be provided here. Those candidates who want to appear for the GATE 2025 exam need to carry an admit card. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the GATE without an admit card. Therefore, the GATE admit card is a mandatory document because None of the candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam without it. IISC Bangalore cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the MTech programmes. For the General AII India category candidates, the round 1 closing rank ranged between 350 and 665, among which Mechanical Engineering is the most competitive specialisation. For OBC category, the round 1closing rank is 624 for the same specialisation.
