Q:   How to apply for M.Tech at IISc Bangalore?
A: 

Candidates seeking admission to IISc Bangalore can apply online on the IISc Admissions Portal, i.e., official website. Click the ‘Apply Now’ tab under the M.Tech course name and reach the registration page. Click on ‘New user Registration/ Login’ then select the programme and again click on ‘New user to register click here’. Applicants must use their email IDs to register (email ID cannot be changed later) preferably gmail. After registration, a verification email is sent to the registered email account, by confirming the email one can start filling out the online application. The application fee is non-refundable and can be paid online via debit card, credit card or net banking.

IISc Bangalore GATE COAP cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the M.Tech course and its various branches for several All India categories. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 480 to 800, wherein MTech in Instrumentation Systems and MTech in Microelectronics and VLSI Design are the easiest and the hardest courses for admission, respectively. For the OBC category, the round 1 closing rank is 624 under the AII India Quota.
