IISc Bangalore GATE COAP cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the M.Tech course and its various branches for several All India categories. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 480 to 800, wherein MTech in Instrumentation Systems and MTech in Microelectronics and VLSI Design are the easiest and the hardest courses for admission, respectively. IISC Bangalore accepts GATE scores for admisison to the M.Tech courses. The Round 1 cutoff is out and as per the cutoff, the most competitive course is Mechanical Engineering with a closing rank of 665 for the General AII India category students. For the OBC category, the round 1 closing rank is 624 under the AII India Quota. 

So, basis the IISC Bangalore M.Tech cutoff 2024, candidates must secure a rank over and above 600 to secure a seat for Mechanical Engineering. 

GATE 2026 admit card is now available for download on its official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Candidates appearing for GATE this year must download their hall ticket to appear for exam. To download admit card, candidates have to provide their enrollment ID and password at GOAPS portal.

Yes, a student can apply for more than one course based on their qualifications but must fill out appropriate online forms for the same. There is a link that the students will get in their interface ‘Apply for another program’ this link can be used to fill out the application form for another programme. IISER is a compulsory entrance test to get into the IISER Pune. IISER 2026 entrance exam will be conducted in computer-based test mode. The duration of the entrance exam is three hours, from 9 AM to 12 noon.

The IISc Bangalore cutoff 2026 for the M.Tech courses at the postgraduate level has been released for last round. The IISc Bangalore cutoff 2026 ranged between 600 and 800 for general AI students. Among all the MTech courses, M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, AI, Bioengineering is the most competitive for admission with a rank of 600. The M.Tech. in Microelectronics and VLSI Design is the most sought after course with a rank of 800. 

The difficulty level of CEED exam has been maintained by authorities over the years. However, most design aspirants share that if difficulty level of all design entrance exams conducted for PG level courses is compared then CEED is slightly easier than NID Entrance Exam. This is primarily because the drawing questions asked in NID that are considered to be tougher than those put forth in CEED exam. No, aspirants do require GATE for admission in MTech programme of IISc Bangalore. The weightage miht differ with MTech specialisation. For MTech Aerospace, Computer Science, Civil, etc. 100% weightage is given to GATE. For Bioengineering, Electrical, Electronics, etc. 70% GATE and 50% interview round. 70% weightage is given to GATE and 30% to written test conducted by the institute for MTech in AI, Chemical, Computational & Data Sciences.
