 Eligible students are required to go through JEE Main or MHTCET exam for admission to Institute of Chemical Technology for BTech followed by CAP counselling conducted by DTE Maharashtra. The eligibility and selection criteria for BTech is as follows:

• Eligibility: A pass in Class 10 and Class 12 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects (40% for Backward Class, EWS and PwD category candidates of Maharashtra) or Diploma in Engineering or BSc exam from a recognised institute of Maharashtra with 45% aggregate (40% for Backward Class, EWS and PwD category candidates of Maharashtra). There is no age limit for admission.
• Selection criteria: MHT CET for students from the state of Maharashtra | MHT CET/ JEE Main for All India category students.

The commencement date for MHT CET counselling has been released. As per available information, the counselling process is scheduled to start on Jul 14, 2024. However, the complete counselling schedule is not yet available. Thus, the last date to participate in the counseling is not available. The application process for admission to M.Tech at ICT Mumbai begins with the registration for GATE entrance exam. Candidates can visit the official website of GATE to fill the application form and get more details around the exam. Get below the basic steps to register for GATE entrance exam:

However, sources across the web suggest that the form is most likely to be released in January 2025. Moreover, the registration process is expected to last for a week. To secure a seat at ICT Mumbai through MHT CET exam is possible with 90 percentiles, however for specific courses only. The courses for which admission can be possible at 90 percentiles are B.Tech. in Dyestuff Technology, and B.Tech. in Fibres and Textile Processing Technology.
