The MAT 2026 Feb session registration is open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Feb 23, 2026, and the test is scheduled for Mar 1, 2026. Further, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Mar 2, 2026, and the test will be held on Mar 8, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The CMAT 2026 exam date for admission to MBA/PGDM/MMS courses is Jan 25, 2026, and the result can be expected in Feb 2026.
- CUET 2026 registration process has started for admission to several UG courses. Candidates can fill out the application form until Jan 31, 2026. The CUET exam 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 11, 2026, to May 31, 2026.
- For the CUET PG 2026, the last date to submit the application form is Jan 14, 2026, and the exam will be conducted in March 2026.
IUST Highlights 2025
Founded in 2005, Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) is a public university which is based in Pulwama region of Jammu & Kashmir. Established by the J&K state government, it is accredited with Grade ‘B’ by NAAC and is duly recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) and Section 12(b) of UGC Act. All the technical and nursing programmes offered by IUST have gained approval from Indian Nursing Council (INC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
IUST has strong tie-ups with numerous prestigious institutions such as United Nations University of Peace Costa Rica, Delhi University, University of Kashmir and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, to facilitate technical, academic and cultural exchange. It comprises five schools including 18 departments and colleges that offer 11 doctoral, 14 PG, 13 UG, three diploma programmes and one certificate course in Arabic language.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CUET 2025 exam date anytime soon at nta.ac.in. It is expected that CUET UG 2025 exam will be held in May/June. The exam will be conducted in multiple slots each day. The number of CUET exam slots will depend upon the number of candidates registered for the exam.
CUET 2025 registrations will commence at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET for admission to UG courses of Central, State, Private or Deemed universities must fill the online application form to appear for the CUET 2025 exam. Only registered candidates will be able to appear for the exam as per the schedule.
IUST Awantipora offers around 300 seats for BSc. The mentioned number includes the seats available for various BSc specialisations offered at the university. The university allots these seats to eligible candidates based on their performance in the accepted entrance exams. IUST Awantipora Diploma admission is granted to applicants who fulfil the eligibility and selection criteria specified by the university. To be eligible for admission, applicants must have completed Class 10/Class 12 (for Lateral Entry) with the required minimum aggregate. Hence, it can be said that the candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the Class 10/Class 12 exam in the current year can apply for admission. A 'Declaration for Result Awaited Candidates' must be filled by candidates applying before their final results are declared.
Yes, IUST Awantipora provides an option to join its Diploma courses directly in the second year through lateral entry. Diploma (Lateral Entry) aspirants must appear for the University Entrance Test to secure admission. They must also fulfil the below-given eligibility criteria to be considered for admission:
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 shall be eligible for admission to the second year of Diploma Course (s) in any branch of Engineering and Technology; OR

The selection process for B.Tech at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) is based on the performance in the JEE Main Paper 1 and the normalized score of the qualifying examination. IUST take top 2,50,000 JEE Main qualified candidates who have appeared for class 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
