What I experienced in my college days.

Placements: The placements in my course are limited as in the end semester, students are involved in full-time internships and also get paid for their work and time. Placements in my course are related to other sides of healthcare industries such as business, etc. The highest package of which is 5–6 LPA as a fresher.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course is well-built as every department of life sciences has its own labs. All the equipment is in working condition. The mess and all other facilities are provided for students timely. There is a proper medical room which has doctors and all the medicines, and they are very hospitable and treat students well. The college campus has a central library that is well-established with books in good condition and also provides free access to online materials which are usually paid.

Faculty: The faculty of my department is very supportive and helpful. All of them are Ph.D. qualified and also have very good experience in our field. The content they provide is highly appreciated and contains great information. The course curriculum is great and contains all possible topics.

Other: The best thing about my course is that the jobs are in every field we see. The events and fairs are held regularly, and the campus also has different groups like dance, music, yoga, etc. The campus crowd is also very good, with a disciplined environment. Scholarships are provided for students for study and also on a reservation basis.

About my college, which is now only a name of fame but it doesn't feel like a college.

Placements: Around 70-80 percent of students are placed from my course. The highest package is approximately 10 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Flipkart, Sony, and Amazon. Around 50 -60 percent of the students are placed in the top companies. They are recruited by companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our course or either department are average in rating, but in electrical there are some of the best classrooms and the faculty is there. About the hostel, firstly it is only for girls, not for boys so the major problem arises here.

Faculty: Somewhere, teachers are qualified and with their best degree and knowledge, they teach in a better way. Somewhere it is average as for industry, they only teach at a college level. The semester levels are average and, in some cases, above average.

Other: I chose this course because I loved it as I am interested in this field. The practical way of teaching given by the teachers. The events and fests are held every 5- 6 years because there was a VC problem. Now it is resolved, and we hope that, from last year the fest will now continue to be held in our college.

My experience at JC Bose University.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placed is 80–85%. I think this is a good score. The highest package is 50 LPA. The lowest is about 4–6 LPA. The average package is 7–8 LPA. In JC Bose UST, we get lots of companies, from local-level to international-level companies.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with proper lighting, fans, and windows that provide proper ventilation. New classrooms are also equipped with air conditioning. All labs have air conditioning and contain all the necessary equipment. The library is also fully air-conditioned, with 1 lakh+ books and physical and online access. All buildings contain lifts. All newer buildings and certain older buildings contain air conditioning. Everything is getting fixed. New things are being built each day in the infrastructure.

Faculty: Every course has good-quality faculty, especially in core branches, with access to labs, workshops, projects, and assignments. Faculty members are very helpful and optimistic about the future of students. Every professor and teacher helps students with their studies and activities.

Placements: 85 percent of students got placed. The highest package goes up to 18 LPA and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting company is Adani Solar and 89 percent of students got internships. Top roles offered are Senior Executive and students who got internships are also placed.

Infrastructure: Labs with every tools and experiential things that we required. There are digital boards in the classroom with a projector, and all types of books for all courses are available in the library. 24/7 Wi-Fi is available. The hostel has both AC and non-AC options. The sports grounds and food quality are good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified. They train every student, which can help students in industry. Semester exams are average, and the pass percentage in every semester is 75 percent. Everything seems easy due to the understanding nature of teachers.

Other: I chose this course after completing a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Everything is very good in this course. Every year this college organizes many events in which they call celebrities and many activities like exhibitions and practical work.

Good infrastructure and supportive faculty.

Placements: The placement opportunity total depends on the student's skills. Students with good skills have the highest's package in my college which is 12 LPA. The average package in my college is around 3.5 LPA. The last time companies that came to my college were Tech Mahindra, Fortis Hospital, Hitachi, etc.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is pretty good. Facilities provided by the college are smart classrooms, computer laboratories, central library, sports ground, seminar hall, transport facilities, hostel, cafeteria, and basic medical support. The college mess food is good, unlike other colleges, the food in the mess is best among all the colleges nearby.

Faculty: The course curriculum followed by the college is JC Bose University guidelines. The courses make the students industry-ready. For the B.Tech student, the CSE branch has no theory exam in the final semester. The student has to submit a 3-month internship certificate for the marks, which makes the student industry-level ready. Practical labs, assignments, seminars, and individual industry visits depend on the branch, course, and departments.

Other: B.Tech branch Computer Science Engineering passing year 2027, I chose this course because of my interests in programming and technology. The improvement is better industry collaborations and more workshops, annual culture fest, sports events, technical fest, freshers, and hackathons.

If you don't have any other option, then you may join, but you have to work hard on your skills.

Placements: Robotics and Artificial Intelligence branch of B.Tech in YMCA Faridabad comes under the mechanical department. In this branch, you will study the subjects of mechanical, electronics, and computer. The scope of robotics here is very low there are no proper labs to learn about robotics. You may work on skills by yourself and get placed. Placement data is not revealed properly, but mostly students get placed if they have proper skills.

Infrastructure: College campus is not very large. There is a small park, a small auditorium, and there are many different kinds of labs, but the scheme and syllabus are still old. In some subjects, they are not updated at the time rainwater will store everywhere, so you can think what kind of campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They teach their subjects properly as given in the syllabus. Some faculty members are very nice they explain in a proper, practical way, but some of them are just trying to complete their syllabus for formality. Exams are conducted properly and marking depends on teachers.
