JMI Entrance Exam 2025 Admit Card: The exam body, Jamia Millia Islamia University, releases the JMI Entrance Exam admit card 2025 at least a week before the exam dates. For JMI Entrance Exam 2025, the admit cards were available on the university's official website - admission.jmi.ac.in on April 23, 2025. Only those who successfully submitted the JMI Entrance Exam application form 2025 were issued the JMI admit card.
JMI releases the JMI 2025 admit card for different courses separately. Applicants are informed about the release of the admit card via SMS on their registered phone numbers. To download the JMI Entrance Exam 2025 admit card, they must log in through the applicant login window on the admissions portal. Applicants must bring two copies of their admit cards to the exam centres, as they will have to deposit one for the invigilator. JMI Entrance Exam 2025 started on April 26, 2025.

No, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates are advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, JMI admit card, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These are the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the JMI exam centre. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the JMI Entrance Exam exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the self-attested passport sized photographs pasted on it.

How To Download JMI Admit Card 2025
The steps to download the JMI Entrance Exam admit card are provided below.
Step 1: Visit the official website - admission.jmi.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the applicant login link under University Admissions
Step 3: Enter your Username/ email ID, password and captcha code to log in again.
Step 4: The admit card will appear on the screen. Click on ‘Download Admit Card’ at the bottom of the page.
Step 5: Check all the details and download the document.
Note: Take two printouts of the JMI admit card. Verify the details before appearing for the JMI Entrance Exam. In case of any error, candidates should immediately contact the university to have it corrected. A direct link will be provided here when the admit card comes out.

The admit card can be downloaded any number of times till the day of examination by logging on to the official website of JMI. The admit card once issued is always visible on the dashboard. So, candidates should not worry in case of lost admit card. However, candidates are also advised to keep a soft copy with them for future reference so that they can take a printout if required. Sometimes due to technical issues also candidates may face difficulty in downloading the admit card, in such a situation having a soft copy proves to be very helpful.

Candidates have to sign on the JMI Entrance Exam admit card in the presence of the invigilator. This acts as a proof of attendance for the exam day. In case one has signed it before that, he/she can discard the document and take a fresh print out and follow the instructions carefully. In case a candidate realises this after reaching the exam centre, then they must notify the exam centre authorities and seek for their approval to allow them to appear for the exam. Otherwise, they will have to take a printout of the JMI Entrance Exam admit card from the exam centre or from the vicinity.
JMI Exam Day 2025 Instructions
Given below are some of the instructions that a candidate must follow:
- The ticket should have a self-attested coloured passport-size photograph affixed to it. Without the photograph, the candidate will not be allowed to sit for the entrance exam.
- The JMI admit card is useful for only one shift of the exam.
- No late entries will be allowed.
- If you are found practising any unfair means during the exam duration, you will be disqualified from the exam.
- No electronic items are allowed in the examination hall.
- Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least half an hour before the scheduled time.
- No written or print material like books/ notepads/ registers/ magazines will be allowed in the exam hall.

Candidates will have to paste their postcard-size photograph of 4"x 6" dimension on the JMI Entrance Exam admit card. The photograph should be the same as that uploaded during the JMI Exam application process. They must also ensure that the photograph is clearly visible and legible and fulfills the guidelines given by Jamia Millia Islamia. The photograph must be pasted properly on the admit card so that it does not drop off from the document. The photograph must be self attested and should follow the parameters given below:
1. The photograph should not be older.
2. Candidates should not be wearing caps or sunglasses or face mask
3. Both ears should be clearly visible
4. The photograph should have been taken against a white background
JMI states that it is mandatory to paste the photograph on the admit card, otherwise it will lead to disqualification.

For the 2025-26 admissions, JMI will release the JMI Entrance Exam admit card from April 17, 2025 onwards for various programmes. Candidates can download the admit card using their login credentials. After downloading the admit card, candidates have to take two printouts of it.
Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of the admit card. However, it is not compulsory. Jamia Millia Islamia has not stated any guideline regarding this. They must also ensure that they have two to three spare copies of the admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, she/he can take a black and white printout of the JMI Entrance Exam 2024 admit card as well, but the details such as photograph and text should be clearly visible.
