MDS in Prosthodontics, Crown and Bridge - Batch of 2021

Review of Army College of Dental Sciences.
Placements: After completing the MS program, students got a chance to work in Army Dental Corps when they met the eligibility criteria. But the vacancies were limited to around 25 to 30. Otherwise, they were hired by private clinics, and a few of them tried for government vacancies.
Infrastructure: Limited seats were arranged for all courses, which made the seat allotment process highly competitive. The majority of seats were provided to students whose families had served in the army. Our college had a structured learning environment with a sense of responsibility.
Faculty: Admission to the MS programme required NEET MS scores. Various specialisations for MS programmes have been initiated. Faculty members provided practical teaching with the available resources. They had shown excellence in their services for a long period of time.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2027

A good atmosphere, good senior-junior relationships, great source of clinical studies.
Placements: I am Lokesh of the 2022 batch, and I can assure you that many talented students have succeeded in getting into PG courses and received a good stipend amount. Many well-ranked PG seats are available, and our college offers PG courses that are among the best in the state. We get a good stipend amount in our MBBS and PG courses. Our college offers many medical courses, including MBBS and PG, for students who qualify for the NEET exam.
Infrastructure: Though the college atmosphere feels pleasant, the infrastructure is not so good, as most of the college area is old, and the campus area is covered with parking areas. Library facilities are good. The food served in the mess and canteen is just enough to survive, but it tastes below average. The hostel infrastructure is very old-fashioned. Coming to sports, many sports like cricket, volleyball, basketball, chess, and badminton are played regularly, and annual tournaments are held during the college fest. But good sponsorship is needed.
Faculty: Teachers are obviously well-qualified and equipped with good clinical knowledge, as they use innovative ways to explain topics. The PG seniors are helpful throughout our course, being our guardian angels in college. Many talented students from Gandhi went on to become good physicians and surgeons working in respected institutions. The medical exams are the hardest exams ever, with a minimum of 50% pass percentage, but the students can pass through by sheer hard work, dedication, and seriousness.
Other: I chose MBBS out of my passion for clinical studies. The thing that you witness is both birth and death at the same time, and you work hard trying to save those lives in between. I wish the curriculum and teaching pattern were more clinically oriented and interactive, and exams should replicate the same. We usually have 3 events in a year: Freshers - Juniors showcase their talents and performances; fest - An event lasting 5-7 days long, comprising many fun activities and performances by students and even faculty; Vinayaka Chavithi - Conducted by students for 3 days.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) - Batch of 2022
Offered by Chandana Group of Institutions

It is a good college for studying B.Ed.
Placements: About 70% of the students are teaching in various government and private schools. After completing B.Ed course, one can usually get a job as a school teacher. Highest salary is 8 LPA, and lowest package is 4 LPA. Salary increments every year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure here is good. All kinds of facilities are available here, such as free Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Classrooms are big and all the classrooms are very modern. College has a central library where all kinds of books are available. There is a canteen on the college campus, where all kinds of food are available. There is also a medical facility here, which is a very positive side of this campus.
Faculty: Faculty members, including professors and associate professors, are all very helpful. Everyone is very knowledgeable and hardworking. They solve all the problems of the students. All of them are experienced. This course is absolutely curriculum-relevant, and it makes the students ready to be great school teachers.

The fee is different for students who come through counseling and management.
Placements: Around 50 students are placed in the course. You should complete the internship and can then search for a job at a Super Specialty hospital or open a private clinic. Alternatively, you can study for an MPT for a better future. Don't dream of a high starting salary; you will get a low salary, from 15 to 25k. You can do home visits, and with experience, you will get a higher salary.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available, but not all the time. Classrooms are neat, and the library is very good. If you don't want to stay in the college hostel, many private hostels are available near the college. You can join whichever one you want.
Faculty: The faculty is very knowledgeable; they are doctors and have clinics outside. They have a lot of experience, and the teaching is very good. There will be a lot of seminars, and you will improve day by day. The pass percentage is 50%, and the internals are conducted by the college.
Other: My goal is to get an MBBS seat, but I didn't, so I chose physiotherapy. The physiotherapy course is rapidly increasing in popularity and has many opportunities. Events and fests will be held.

The rules and regulations are really good
Placements: Regarding placements, the college offers a mandatory internship in the college hospital with a stipend. The students learn the basics through hands-on experience so they can easily get jobs in different hospitals after their BDS. Many students choose to work in the college hospital itself while pursuing their PG.
Infrastructure: The facilities at our college are fabulous. From the hostel to the mess, everything is well-maintained, and as it is an army institution, there are proper rules and regulations for everything. The food here tastes great, and the classrooms are well-equipped with ACs. There are also many sports to play and events to attend.
Faculty: Faculty members are great, they are well-educated and have industry experience. They have the best way to teach, but the only flaw is that some professors are sometimes biased towards Telugu students since they share the same language. Other than that, there are no complaints about the college. The semester exams are regularly conducted.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a doctor.

Really good college and hospital.
Placements: There were 250 seats in our college. It was more than thousand-bedded hospital and had every department. Students had more clinical exposure compared to other colleges. Many of my batchmates passed out with first-class marks.
Infrastructure: The college facilities were really good. Labs were maintained with all equipment we needed for practical purposes. For people who were non-local students hostel facility was available. In first year, they provided 5 shared rooms, then 3 shared, and in final year of MBBS they provided single room.
Faculty: Teaching quality was really good. In first year, there will be daily dissection in morning and after lunch, labs and classes. From second year, we had clinical postings in the hospital. Students will be divided into batches. The patient exposure was really good. Will be able to see and learn many different cases.
