Admission to the University of Kashmir, South Campus, is primarily merit-based. The minimum eligibility criteria for UKSC Anantnag UG admission is that the students should have 10+2/Intermediate/PUC. 

Over the years this Campus has become a preferred destination of students belonging to various parts of the Jammu and Kashmir, for Post Graduate degree programmes being offered in the disciplines of Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, English, Education, M.Ed. and Urdu. 

For courses like MBA, M Pharma, BTech and MTech, you have to submit your CMAT, GPAT, JEE Mains and GATE scores. For other courses you have to give a separate entrance exam conducted by the University and based on your merit you will get admission.

Kashmir University offers a one-year M.Ed course in a full-time mode. This course is offered at its North Campus, South Campus and one affiliated college situated at Sanctorum College of Education Lalad Sopore. Apart from this, the university also offers M.Ed in Distance mode.

The application form can be downloaded from the official website (kashmiruniversity.net) and submitted at the admission office. Candidates must check eligibility before the form filling. Further, applicants have to pay the registration fee for submitting the application successfully.

 Students must have the following documents with them at the time of admission - Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, UG/PG mark sheets (As applicable), category certificate (if any), and character certificate. If any other documents are required, then the same will be mentioned in the respective course admission notice or in the university admission brochure.

The total tuition fees for BTech in Kashmir University is INR 1.8 Lakh.  In addition, Kashmir University Fees may have other charges such as security deposits, admission fees, and miscellaneous charges. The exact figures may vary by specialisation or college. 

Kashmir University BTech admission take place through the merit secured in JEE Main exams. Candidates with a valid JEE Main score can apply for admission into the programme. Once the results of the exams are announced candidates are provided with provisional admission on application. Admission is only finalised when the candidate has done the document verification and some amount of the tuition fee is paid.
