KUHS BHMS course admission is completely based on candidates' achieved scores in NEET UG, followed by a counselling process. To get admission into this course at the university and its affiliated medical college, candidates are required to register on the state counselling portal/ official website of CEE with their NEET roll number and details. Step 1: Kerala University of Health Sciences BHMS Application Process 2025:

The application and selection flow for the university and affiliated college is the same. Moreover, before applying for the course, candidates must ensure that they complete the basic eligibility criteria.

Step 1.1: Visit the university's official website (http://kuhs.ac.in/).

Step 1.2: Register for counselling with the required details, such as domicile, NEET roll number, scores, etc.

Step 1.3: Download the application and take the printout.

Step 1.4: Pay the KUHS BHMS application fee.

Step 1.5: Fill out the application form with all the relevant details and attach the pay slip along with two copies of the online bank challan with the application form.

Step 2: Release of Provisional Merit List

Before the counselling process begins, the university releases the provisional merit list of shortlisted candidates according to applicants' NEET ranks, available seats, and course preferences. Once the list is released, candidates are required to check the merit list and appear in the further counselling process.

Step 3: Counselling Process

Following the completion of all selection rounds, candidates must participate in the counselling process specific to their chosen course. Subsequently, the institute will publish a cutoff list/ merit list in multiple rounds, comprising the names of selected candidates. Those who secure a spot on the merit list are required to complete the admission process by document verification at the college level. Further, the seat will be provisionally allotted to the student.

Step 4: Reporting to College and Final Admission

Once the counselling process is completed, the university releases the details about the candidates' allotted medical college. Further, selected candidates are required to confirm their admission with original documents, completed verification, and a medical examination.

Step 5: Admission Confirmation/ Tuition Fee Payments

For seat confirmation, candidates are required to pay the Kerala University of Health Sciences BHMS fees. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 1.1 lakh.

Kerala University of Health Sciences offers BHMS scholarships to students based on their academic achievements, participation in research, category, and merit. The university provides the KUHS Research Appreciation Award to BHMS students on the basis of their research project. This scholarship amount is INR 10,000, and about 1000 KUHS students can get this scholarship in a year.
