STEP 1: Entrance Examination & Portal Registration

• Register, appear for, and successfully qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) managed by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• After results are declared, download your official scorecard containing your raw scores, subject percentiles, and All India Rank (AIR).

• Determine whether you are applying via the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) or the 85% State Quota based on your regional domicile eligibility.

• Eligible aspirants must register on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) portal for AIQ, or the UP DGME website for State Quota seats, by paying the non-refundable registration and refundable security fees.

STEP 2: Cutoff Evaluation & Strategic Choice Locking

• Review previous years' opening and closing cutoff ranks to evaluate your admission chances at the university.

• Log into your active counselling dashboard during the designated window and carefully select this university from the list of participating medical colleges.

• Select KGMU as your top preference
