King George's Medical University (KGMU) offers a PG-level MD course for three years. This course is offered across 20 specialisations. Admission to this course at KGMU is entirely based on the NEET PG entrance exam, which is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The final seat allotment is done based on UP NEET PG (Counselling).
KGMU MD admissions 2023 are entirely based on a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to PG level Medical courses. The NEET SS application fee is INR 3,500. The fee is same for candidates belonging to each category. This is the application fee for each group. Hence, candidates planning to apply for two groups will have to pay INR 7,000 (3,500 + 3,500). The fee has to be paid in online mode, via credit/debit card or net banking. NBE states, "Applications forms once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Fee shall neither be carried forward to a future date nor refunded under any circumstances. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Any claim for refund, adjustment or carrying forward of Application fee will not be entertained. Examination fees in respect of candidates who are absent or have been declared ineligible due to any reason will be forfeited." As compared to last year, the fee has been reduced. Last year, the fee amount was INR 4,250 for each group.
KGMU faculty are experienced and are diploma, PhD, and degree holders. KGMU faculty have several years of vast teaching experience and have worked as doctors, professors, lecturers, and others in various hospitals and colleges. King George's Medical University arranges guest lectures and conferences for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The university also holds conferences for faculty.

The university is a public government institution operating under strict medical council mandates. Every single student must clear the standard national level entrance examination to secure eligibility. All allocations happen strictly through official online counselling portals transparently.
