If you're concerned about your studies, you can choose our college.
Placements: About my college students, many of them passed out, and some students are placed in the company, who performed well in the placement conducted in our college. Most companies are IT-based, and a few of them are based on core branches. Companies like ABB, Kerala Vision, etc., recruit. Some major companies are Google and Wipro, but those are also applicable to core branched students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not bad. Well-maintained hostel and also an extra canteen facility are available both inside and outside of the college. Some students eat outside during lunch, and some students eat in the college canteen and hostellers in the hostel. About the hostel, it is clean and maintained and not bad at food quality, and a balanced diet plan is conducted in the hostel. The lab facility is good, and many entrance exams are conducted in our college because in our college, there are 7, almost 7-8 internet-facilitated computer labs and also machine labs are good.
Faculty: Good and experienced staff, especially in my electrical and electronics engineering department. Our staff have 20 years of experience in that same college, and they completed their M.Tech with well-specified papers like power electronics, power systems, and so on. Passing the exam is slightly difficult because questions are made by the university (KTU), but it is okay when you follow the footsteps of the teacher's lecture notes, you will pass 90% of chance.
Other: It is worth paying cash for events, and you have an opportunity to conduct your projects at the tech fest, show your talents and boost your career.

If you're ready to enjoy and secure your career in future you can choose here.
Placements: In our college, there are many students from each and every department who are placed in several industrial areas and also in their conducted course-based jobs. The top recruitment companies are like Google, Microsoft, Talrop, ABB and Wipro, and students from core branches get placed in companies like IT-based, as well as in their own course-based job sectors.
Infrastructure: Well, about infrastructure, especially about the lab facility, our college is good. As EEE students, we have separate labs and well-trained industrial professionals who teach us. Therefore, those students are able to know how to handle industrial areas. Then, about the internet and computer labs in our college, there are almost 7 computer labs with Wi-Fi connectivity. About hostel life, there is a regular FSSAI food inspection conducted, so no need to worry about food quality. Then, about hostel rooms, they are neat and clean. One room consists of 2 beds for 2 students.
Faculty: About staff and faculty, it is important to say. They have completed a PG degree in specified subjects and are well-experienced. They follow the syllabus from KTU University, and are helpful and friendly to students. About exams, according to the 2024 scheme, the exam is comparatively easy to pass because only 24 marks need to be scored out of 60 marks, so passing the exam is not a big deal.
Other: Every semester, there will be at least one programme conducted. Also, every year, there is an art fest and a tech fest conducted by the college. Onam and Christmas are celebrated every year. Our college is located in a hill area, so it is calm to study and very good to enjoy our college life.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placements at Jyothi Engineering College.
Placements: Placements at Jyothi Engineering College, Thrissur, are decent and steadily improving. In my batch/course, around 60–70% of students get placed, mainly through campus recruitment and pooled drives. The highest package offered is around 6–7 LPA, while the lowest package is about 2–2.5 LPA. The average package usually ranges between 3 and 3.5 LPA, which is reasonable for a private engineering college in Kerala. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, UST Global, Tata Elxsi, IBS Software, and some core and startup companies, depending on the branch. Around 50–60% of students receive internship opportunities, mainly in IT services, startups, and training-based companies.
Infrastructure: Jyothi Engineering College, Thrissur, has good infrastructure. Classrooms are spacious and well-maintained with projectors. Labs are adequately equipped, and Wi-Fi is available on campus. The library has sufficient academic resources. Hostels are good. Food quality is very good. Medical facilities are available. Sports facilities support overall student development.
Faculty: Faculty at Jyothi Engineering College, Thrissur, are helpful, qualified, and approachable. Teaching quality is good. Concepts are explained clearly. The curriculum follows KTU guidelines and gives basic industry exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 80% for regular students.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by Government Engineering College, Kozhikode

Needs improvement in infrastructure at GECK.
Placements: About 90% of students in our batch get placement in different companies. But some of them only get good packages, and the majority of students get low packages. The top recruiting company is Larsen and Toubro. About 25% of students get opportunities in good companies, while others are offered very low packages.
Infrastructure: A well-facilitated campus is provided with a large library, labs, and good academic support. But physically, the college is limited because it is situated in the center of Kozhikode city. Therefore, less space is allotted, and we do not have proper facilities like a playground or a college basketball court.
Faculty: Faculty is always supportive in helping students improve from laziness to extraordinary performance. My favorite teacher, Mr. Tennison K. Jose, is always available for doubts in thermal engineering. The syllabus is tough and wide, so we need to study topics from each module carefully.
Other: I chose this course because I love studying mechanical things like engines, gears, and designing using CAD. The college union organizes events. The last major event held was Lakshya 2024.

Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The majority of the students are being placed in companies like SIB, Infosys, TCS and some other local companies near our college in Infopark. The highest package this year was 13 LPA from a company named Foodhub. The salary packages range from 3 LPA to 12 LPA. I guess Infosys is the top recruiter, almost 150 students got placed there.
Infrastructure: The college is pretty aesthetic. It's near a riverside and in a valley. Lush greenery meets tall buildings here. The garden is well-maintained. Infrastructure is not bad. The classes are not air-conditioned, but we have almost 8 fans in one classroom, so it's not that hot. Labs are also good. The library is resourceful and has Wi-Fi. But hostels are not that good, though.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty qualified and knowledgeable. Moreover, they know how to make the topic reach to you. They know how to teach, unlike a lot of college professors. The course curriculum is pretty relevant. You have a lot of add-ons for employment and AI-related stuff. Semester exams aren't that difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.

Placements: Around 85% of students get placed. Packages range from 4-10 LPA. Companies like IBM, EY, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS visit the campus, offering roles such as software developers and engineers. Many more roles are offered. Overall, it's a good offer. It's okay.
Infrastructure: The class has AC and multiple fans. The water is good. The library has lots of books and a healthy environment. The cutlet is good. In the hostel, there are AC and fans, good food, a good canteen, and the puffs are good. There are medical facilities and many sports.
Faculty: The college has now become autonomous. The curriculum is good. The faculty members are good. The curriculum is job-ready. The curriculum is good. The semester is not so bad, not too difficult. If you work hard, you can easily pass it. The curriculum is good. If you work hard, you can easily pass it.
