Lamrin Tech Skills University Launches India’s First Real Estate Course for Channel Partners in Collaboration with Real Estate Veteran

February 23, 2023: Lamrin Tech Skills University partners with real estate guru Vineet Nanda to launch "Steller School of Real Estate," which will offer the first-of-its-kind course "RESEED (Reinforcing Skill Education For Employability Development)" with the goal of supplying skilled professionals in the context of the RERA-regulated real estate sector environment. As a member of the Board of Management of LTSU, Punjab, Mr. Vineet Nanda, Head of the Regional Urban Infra Committee of the FICCI and Director of Sales and Marketing for Krisumi Corporation (a joint venture between Krishna Group India and Sumitomo Corporation, Japan), has received honours. The course's curator and real estate expert Mr. Bhaswar Paul has joined the faculty at LTSU, Punjab, as a professor of practise.

In order to further regulate the industry, Vineet Nanda, the FICCI Chairman who has worked on numerous white papers, and JLL, a knowledge partner of the FICCI, headed by Akash Bansal, Senior Director and India Lead, were developing a white paper that would be given to the state governments. The White Paper proposed regulating business dealings between channel partners and clients in the real estate sector. Even those who are registered with RERA, the majority of channel partners and their team members lack sufficient understanding of RERA. They are also not properly educated to deal with home/office buyers

The real estate industry has grown up and improved greatly in terms of organisation and transparency. One of the most pressing needs of the hour is the upskilling of those working in the industry because as it develops, all the stakeholders do as well.

The institution will provide a range of programmes, including postgraduate and certificate, diploma, and degree levels. Graduate and upper-degree programmes will be provided through the Center of Excellence (COE), while Diploma and Certificate programmes will be provided through the Center for Specialized Training (COST) and the Center for Vocational Training (COVT), respectively.
Under the brand name RESEED, the Centre for Specialist Training intends to offer this intensely specialised, research-based real estate education programme. This is the first programme of its kind that focuses on the real estate industry at the certificate level. Candidates for the programme will include young aspirants and working professionals of real estate companies and their channel partners. The programme will train them to become a new generation of real estate professionals who will be high-performing asset who consistently demonstrates best industry practise.
The curriculum for this three-month course was created by real estate professionals under the direction of Bhaswar Paul, a seasoned sales & marketing professional with extensive real estate industry expertise. The course will include a wide range of topics, including property management, real estate finance, urban planning etc following the credit system as per National Credit Framework of UGC including credits for On the Job Training (OJT) leading to recognized certification by the University.

However, the university has multiple tie-ups with companies, so the chances of placement are high. Some students have also got paid internships. The top companies include IBM, Infosys, etc.

B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is collaborated with IBM in LTSU.

Placements: Currently, in our university, there are no placement records because this university was established on 09 December 2021, and no batch has been passed out. It has a good collaboration with the industry, like the tech giants. IBM is the anchor partner, and Tata Technology is also its industry partner. Several other companies like L&T Edutech, Efos, railway, etc., are collaborating with it.
