It's the best applied sciences college in South India.
Placements: Almost 98-99% of students got internships in some of the top companies like Nestle, KMF, Mother Diary, and Vista Foods. Top roles offered in this course include food quality officer, quality analyser, product developer, FSSAI officer, food inspector, and microbiologist.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are quite huge which can accommodate many people and provide proper ventilation. The labs have almost all the machines. All the machines are lab-scale production machines. It's a great opportunity for all the students to work with different types of equipment and develop products.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have completed their Ph.D. and are teaching here. Excellent teaching system. Presentations will be provided. The college library provides top recommended books as well. The course provides all knowledge about the industry and makes students industry-ready.
Other: If you are a foodie and interested in how the food products are made on large scales or you want to launch your own company, this is the right course.

The infrastructure and teaching provided here are very good.
Placements: Nearly 40% of the students from our course got placed. We are the senior batch in our college, so still, we need to get placements. It is mandatory for students to do internships, and internships will be offered only in local companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility and labs are good enough for students, and classrooms are excellent. In the library, students get books through both offline and online. The quality of the facilities provided in our hostel is good enough, but the food served in the mess is not very great but fine. Canteen and medical facilities are available 24x7, and sports and games are also available here.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and qualified in the teaching field. They are knowledgeable, and their quality of teaching is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Especially I love the events and cultural programmes conducted here.

There are no placements yet by the college, but it's a great experience to learn the course.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not up to the mark. The college does not provide placements, but they guide us with our careers. They provide internships where we work to gain experience, and based on our abilities, we may be placed further.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good, with classrooms, places to eat, and good sanitation practices. Labs are well-equipped, and classrooms have interactive boards to help us with our academics and course understanding. There is a huge park, wide corridors, a huge food street, and good parking facilities.
Faculty: The knowledge gained from the course is good, above average. The curriculum is completely related. Teachers guide us regularly. It’s completely based on our interests and also helps in research projects and papers. The environment to discuss further and apply it. A complete package about the food industry.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to become an entrepreneur in the food sector itself and explore areas in the food industry. The campus crowd is really good, as it's a huge campus with a huge crowd, allowing interaction with other students.

Satisfied because of the overall campus atmosphere, infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: B.Sc. (Hons. ). Food processing and technology is a newly introduced course hence the placement cell has not come into effect. 2018 was the first batch but other courses offered by the university does have its own placement cells.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure is offered at Ramaiah university. It do have smart classrooms, library and well-equipped lab for the course. Ramaiah have it's own university hostel inside the campus. The old buildings are under renovation. Students can either choose university hostel or private hostels outside the campus. Option for mess is plenty inside and outside the campus.
Faculty: The faculty comprise hardworking and supportive teachers. Most of them are Ph.D. holders or own master degree in the particular subjects. The course curriculum include more of practical based knowledge and have included very relevant theory of the subject. They also aim at making students prepare for further research in future. Since it is a hons. course they have also included many other subjects than the core subjects to make students industry ready.
Other: Food processing and technology is a very relevant course in today's world. It offers a very promising future for students who would like to work and think out of the box. It offers jobs in MNCs, also central government do have special department for this graduates. You have many job opportunities like food technician, nutritionist in hospitals, quality comptroller, entrepreneur etc. University provide events and extracurricular activities often.
