Review of Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology.

Placements: Recently, placements of the final batch happened with an average package that ranges from 6-7 LPA. Companies like Wonder Cement, Aditya Birla, etc., visit the college for placements. Our alumni got placed in IOCL as a grade officer. We get so many opportunities at RIL, and it is really very good for chemical engineering students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not as much as expected. Walls of hostels are broken. It has poor washrooms, mosquito problems, and water problems. The major problem is with electricity because it was a degree college that turned into a university, so the infrastructure is not good but it is improving.

Faculty: Exams are held every month that are minor, major, and practical. For the extra things, they also provide interns.

Other: The best event or fest named Abhyudaya is conducted every year by cultural society and it is very interesting. Different societies conduct so many interesting events. Some societies are SAE, SEB, cultural society, etc. It organises fun events.

An astonishing campus with great ambiance.

Placements: There is no such data about the placed students, as most of the students go for higher studies in our branch, like M.Tech or MBA. The highest package was offered by the IFFCO company, which was 16 Lacs, and the lowest was around 4 Lacs. The roles offered in our course are process and plant engineer. The internship percent is 100%.

Infrastructure: Our department has all types of facilities required; there is high-speed Wi-Fi, labs are there, and all types of instruments are there as per industry standards. The hostel building did require a lot of renovation; the mess food is quite decent; there is a 24*7 canteen; the sports stadium is open till 9 p.m.; and medical connectivity is 24*7.

Faculty: Our faculty are one of the prominent pillers of the university. There is no need to take care about the academics as what they teach is enough for the exams. Our courses are industry-ready, and as the person grows with the experience, its value increases in the industrial market. The semester exams are not much difficult if you study that much about what was taught in the lectures, which is more than enough to score in the exams.

Other: I chose this course as it is industry-ready and no AI could take its place. And there is a lot of potential in the industrial world. The campus fest is the best, either cultural, technical, or sports; all are the best and are at the next level of enjoyment.

Satisfied by college.

Placements: Placements are very good and if we have good skills it directly influences our placements. Like if I talk about the placements in 2024, most students got placed. Placements from core branches are also satisfying. The highest salary package offered in 2024 was 52 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels are very good and mess food is also satisfying. There are a lot of hostels for students. Mess fees are Rs. 36,000 for a year. For the first year, hostels like Tagore, Tilak, and VS are available. There is a separate hostel for girls. There are two types of rooms, one is for 2 sharing and the other is for 4 sharing.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They give very in-depth knowledge. They also take class tests very often. There are two exams in a semester - minor and major, then the second semester starts. There is also the possibility of branch upgrade if we meet the upgrade criteria.

Other: College campus is very big and beautiful.

An Insightful Journey: A Comprehensive Review of MMMUT Gorakhpur.

Placements: As I am a chemical engineering student, placements in my course are quite average compared to other branches. The highest package from my branch was 18 LPA, and the average package was around 5 LPA. Almost 70% of my course students got placed, while others went for higher education.

Infrastructure: The college provides all the basic facilities like free internet throughout the campus. The labs are well-equipped, and the college has a central library as well as departmental libraries. The mess food is decent, and the hostel rooms are also good. The college has a big stadium for all kinds of sports and a cafeteria.

Faculty: The faculty of the chemical engineering department is experienced and qualified; they are very supportive. The course is industry-oriented, which helps students stand out in the job market and also prepares them for higher education. The semester exams are moderately tough, with 40% marks required to pass a subject.

Other: I chose chemical engineering because I have an interest in it. This course is best for PSU jobs and GATE examinations. There are many events and fests throughout the year.

Placements: Approximately 60% of students secured placements, with the highest package reaching 14 LPA. The lowest package offered was 4 LPA, while the average package stood at 5 LPA. Chemical engineers benefit from strong alumni support, although no college internships are provided, necessitating individual efforts to secure one. Alumni assistance proves valuable in obtaining internships.

Infrastructure: The college has good-quality classrooms with Wi-Fi accessibility throughout. An excellent library housing over 20,000 books and research papers is available. Hostel facilities are average, accompanied by standard food options. Free medical facilities are provided, although improvements are needed in hostel and mess management.

Faculty: While teachers may not be exceptionally helpful, strong support from seniors fosters confidence among students. The exams and syllabus are designed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Semester exams are challenging with rigorous evaluation, and the pass percentage is maintained at 85%. The course offers excellent opportunities and prospects.

Other: The college provides good facilities for chemical engineering, offering high future prospects. There is room for improvement in providing more practical knowledge and industry visits for students.
