The infrastructure is good, but placements are not good. Overall, it is average.
Placements: Approximately 60 to 70% of students were placed in the electrical department. The highest package in the electrical engineering department is 14 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 7 to 8 LPA. Companies like LNT, BHEL, etc., recruit from here. Approximately 60% of students intern at PSUs. The top role offered is electrical work.
Infrastructure: Classrooms for first-year students are fully clean, and four air conditioners are installed in each classroom, which also features a digital board. The hostel facilities are average at best, but Wi-Fi is available 24 hours in both the hostel and classrooms, and there is a four-seater room.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. Most of them are graduates or postgraduates from IITs, and their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and every course has its practical components. Semester exams are neither too difficult nor too easy; it is of average difficulty. The pass percentage is 80%.

The college is not value for money; if options are available, go for them.
Placements: Currently, I am in my first year, so I can't comment much about my batch's placements, but placement statistics are declining. Many top recruiters are no longer coming regularly. Placements in upper branches like CS and IT are decent, but placements in core branches are unsatisfactory.
Infrastructure: Hostels have become old, and proper infrastructure is lacking. There are two types of rooms available for first-year students: two-seater and four-seater. The rooms are old, and the paint has faded. The food offered in the mess is average, served four times a day, and it’s reasonably priced.
Faculty: In the first year, you won't get the principal faculty in your classrooms. Classes will be taught by guest faculty, and the AKTU syllabus is being covered. The new education policy has been implemented, and exams are organized accordingly. About two exams are conducted each semester: midterm and end term.

Overall, college is good. Teachers are also supportive and placements are also good at MMMUT.
Placements: Currently, I am a B.Tech electrical engineering students in batch 2027 passout. The placement statistics are good at MMMUT, Gorakhpur. In 2025 many core companies are visit placement statistics 2025 are very much higher in comparison to the previous year. The highest package is 52 LPA in computer science branch offered by Amazon. The average package at MMMUT Gorakhpur is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Microsoft, and Infosys. In tech field getting internships at my college is tougher but many non-tech students will get internships such as Microsoft, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: At MMMUT Gorakhpur all branches have a separate building on it. Wi-Fi will be available in hostel as well as in all classes. It will be available 24X7. Many computer labs are available at MMMUT. But all branches have its own labs. Central library is also available at MMMUT where many students can sit and learn. In classroom, AC and smart boards are there where students learn also digitally. In hostel, free Wi-Fi is available, 24X7 water is also available in the hostel. But for certain regions drinking water also does not come. Sometimes the quality of water is also bad, in some hostel not at all. For example in Ambedkar hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, knowledgeable, and also some faculty support students. The teaching quality is good. Faculty members not only teach but also implement it in real life. For core branch, they give you an industrial visit, so that students can learn how the industry will run. Learning some subjects regularly basis is not difficult when the semester exam comes. But if not getting learning on regular basis get hyper, pressure in last moment of exam. The passing marks are overall 40 but for external above 15 marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electrical subjects. The best thing is that you can learn and apply it in real life. Many events have occurred such as electra technical fest of electrical, techsrizan, and Abhyudaya large cultural fest of MMMUT. Connectivity between juniors and seniors are also good. Scholarships are also in each year in month of March. In extracurricular activities, you can also join many clubs and societies.

A reputed college striving hard to gain stability but disappoints in many aspects but good teachers.
Placements: All the students who sat for the placements got the offer. The highest salary offered is 8 LPA - 9 LPA CTC. The lowest went down to 2 LPA - 3 LPA CTC. Top recruiting companies included some of the PSUs and other private and public sector Indian Companies. Foreign multinational companies do not visit the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college in some places is the worst and in some places near the library. Admin block is good. Hostel infrastructure has been pathetic with rooms of 3 provided to 4 persons. Bathrooms and toilets are not at all clean with mistakes from students as well as a lack of civic sense, and not worrying about others' comfort. Wi-Fi is present on the campus and in the hostel too with reasonable speed and decent connectivity getting disconnected very less but it does. Mess food is bad with no proper nutrition thought. Medical and sports facilities are decent.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well qualified. They encourage students to pursue research and stay curious about the subject. They help students go deep into the subject and help students along with it. The course curriculum slightly aligns with modern times and has topics necessary for modern times. It also provides hands-on and practical experience of the courses through theory.

MMMUT: A college used to be good.
Placements: I am a student of electrical engineering branch at MMMUT, last year the placement of EE was not very great. The highest package was around 10 LPA and the average was 6 LPA but the number of students who qualified for GATE was astonishing many students from the core branch cracked GATE last year as well as this year.
Infrastructure: The college has 735 acres of land on paper but I didn't utilize it properly, the conditions of the hostels are very pathetic. Classrooms are good as well as library overall university looks beautiful but it didn't taken care properly, sports facilities are also not up to expectation.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful some are not, typically government universities but teachers here are quite knowledgeable. They are quite experienced, for the curriculum is designed in such a way for core branches the curriculum is beneficial for GATE from the first year, and for tech branches, it is placement-oriented from the first year.

This is good government college for low percentile students.
Placements: In my college at present according to seniors 4 year and 3rd-year students' placements are very low for this placement session. Here most of the students get their placements off-campus and very few students are placed on-campus. This year one student got package of 45 LPA at Amazon.
Infrastructure: Academy infrastructure is good and girls hostel infrastructure is new. But boys hostel is very old that's why it is not too good and windows are broken. College has a very big library and a huge amount of books are available in library. College also have digital libraries.
Faculty: In 1st year only 1 or 2 professors take classes and rest of faculty members are either Ph.D. scholars or assistant professors. For lab Ph.D. scholars are allotted in Physics lab and very few equipment are good and working properly. Course curriculum is good in IT and CS syllabus is good in acedamic block of first year. All the classes are smart with smart board and mic. Each subject has 3 classes and 2 labs per week and second Saturday is holiday for every month.
Other: College has its own gym and new gym is under construction. There are three cafeterias in college, one is near boys hostel, 2 are near academic block, and girls hostel. Class starts at 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and after that lunch break and then from 2:20 PM to 5:00 PM classes are taken. 1st year students are allowed to out of hostel upto 7:30 Pm and others are allowed at any time. In each semester club events are done by students.

It is a good college for students from Uttar Pradesh with a low score.
Placements: In my college at present, according to seniors, placements for 4th-year and 3rd-year students are very low for this placement session. Most of students get their placements off-campus, and very few students get placed on campus. The average placement is about 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Its academic infrastructure is good, and the girls' hostel infrastructure is new, but the boys' hostel is very old, which is why it is not too good, the windows are broken. The college has a very big library with a huge number of books available, and it also has digital libraries. In each semester, club events are done by students.
Faculty: In the 1st year, only 1 or 2 professors take classes, and the rest of faculty members are either Ph.D. scholars or assistant professors. For labs, Ph.D. scholars are assigned to the Physics lab, and very few pieces of equipment are good and working properly. The course curriculum is good for IT and CS, and the syllabus is good. In the academic block of the first year, all classes are SMART with SMART boards and mics. Each subject has 3 classes and 2 labs per week, and the second Saturday is a holiday for every month.
Other: I choose this college because, according to my JEE Main rank, it is a good college, and it is also near my hometown. That’s why I choose this college over some NITs in the Northeast. The admission process is similar to other NITs and some other government colleges. Its counseling is online, and after that, we pay the complete fee of Rs. 132,000 and then come to college.

Review of Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology.
Placements: 70% of students from the electrical engineering got placed in the last year. The highest package offered in electrical this year is 7.5 LPA by Aditya Birla Group. Top companies for electrical are L&T, ABG, Vibrant, BHEL, etc. We get unpaid internships at North Eastern Railways.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well equipped. Wi-Fi is available 24x7 all over the campus. The library is open from 9 AM to 8 PM in the evening. Hostels are not in good condition but development is taking place. We have our own stadium for all the sports activities including the indoor complex.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. They are PhD holders and masters from IITs and NITs. A new education policy is adopted so students are trained for industry-ready skills. It conducts 2 minor of 10 marks and one major of 50 marks in each semester. We have to get a minimum of 40 marks from 100 and to get passed in internals separately.
Other: It is a state government college but well-known in the Purvanchal area, so I chose it. In this college, core students also get placed in large numbers. Many events take place throughout the year. Abhudhaya is the main cultural fest of our college. Different sports fests are also organised.
