One can make good career from our course.

Placements: Not many companies give opportunities here for forensic science. The struggle is faced by students. Course seats are about 30. As such no company came for recruitment. Top roles offered are, one can either go with teaching or can pursue Ph.D. after M.Sc. or could associate with labs. An appointment could be for a scientific officer, senior scientific officer, in research as well one can found scope.

Infrastructure: The library is excellent with a lot of varieties available. Hostel is fine as well not on bad terms. Wi-Fi facility is available everywhere in department, library, and hostel. University campus is amazing. Although the department was earlier was a part of genetics, now it became separate. There is a sort of problem faced by students for sitting. For now, classrooms are not so good, and I am not satisfied.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful in their approach. Although teaching quality can be improved. To an extent the course curriculum is relevant. You have to study hard to get good grades in your examination. There are not plenty of teachers available for the course. There is only a limited staff which is quite knowledgeable and cooperative.

M.Sc. in Forensic Science at MDU Rohtak is a two year course program. To pursue one should complete his or her Bachelor's in life sciences with 60 to 90 percentage and even one should qualify in entrance test that is ICET and fee structure is 16K to 28K

Candidates holding Bachelor's Degree in relevant disciplines such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Criminology, Forensic Science and Science are eligible to pursue this course. Minimum aggregate marks required is 45-55% marks. It may vary from one College to another.

The candidate must have completed B.Sc. (Forensic Science)/B.Sc. (Pass) wiith 50% in of the two subjects, viz. Botany, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology or BDS from a recognized university. So you are not eligible for this.
