Overall, the college is good.

Placements: My branch is the new branch and at first, the number of students was less. Now the demand for AI increased so admissions for my course have increased. Placements are decent in this course. The average package was 6 LPA. Placements depend on the merit of students and also how they perform.

Infrastructure: The college is so good. The campus is so huge. Hostels are decent but the water facility here is so tough. 24x7 Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are neat. Washrooms are clean. The library is so big and all kinds of books are available. Labs are so good all the equipment is available in labs.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They all are PhD holders in their own fields. Everyone also has doctorate degrees. They explain in a very good way. We can easily understand anything. We have a relatively grading system in our college. Semester exams are not easy. Education is tough here.

Other: I was a math student in my 12th standard. I thought of taking CSE but it became so common course that everyone is opting for, so I chose AI as it is leading our future and has much scope in it. In our college, the course is good and the package is good for placements. Scholarships are given based on merit. There are many tech fests happening in our college. These are helpful for our academic performance also.

I am not satisfied because of the difficulty of exams but our campus has good environment.

Placements: Around 25% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA. The lowest salary package offered varies between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Voltas Ltd, Cognizant, Amazon, and Capgemini. Almost 10 students got internships in this course.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available. Wi-Fi is enabled on campus. Air-conditioners are available in the hostel and college. Library is very good and classrooms are spacious. Around 200 students can sit comfortably in our classrooms. The food served in the mess is better. Medical facilities are also available. Games are conducted in this college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Subjects are tough, therefore students cannot understand every topic properly. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is low.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

The amount of supplementary exam is too high, i.e. 5k.

Placements: A drop of 37.77% was observed in the highest package offered in 2021 compared to 2020. A group of 15 people got into dell internship through hackathons. People also get placed based on hackathons. People also worked for ISRO projects. Average package offered is 7LPA. Placement rate is 75%. The highest package offered is 28lpa.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are very neat and they can accommodate upto 100 students and in some classrooms upto 200. The Physics and electrical labs have all equipments working and they are in good numbers. The hostel rooms are spacious and clean. The mess food is hygienic and tasty.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful. Yes it makes the students industry ready they are good. The sources offered by the teachers are upto the mark and library has a wide variety of books the pass percentage is 37 percent student to teacher interaction is encouraged.

It is a completely residential college.

Placements: About 90% of the students were placed from our course. Top recruiting companies here are Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Capgemini, Schlumberger, TCS, Byju's, Beehyv, Cyient, Toshiba, CBRE, Cisco and Dell. Some of them get placed as HRs. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: There is a good Wi-Fi facility in our hostels and classrooms. We need to use our personal mobile data when we are not in hostel or classrooms. Our hostel rooms are very good to stay, and the quality of food served is awesome. We can get food 24x7. There is a medical room with a doctor. There are volleyball, basketball, tennis and badminton courts. A gym is accessible for free of cost.

Faculty: The teachers here are friendly, and all of them are PhD holders. Some of them are retired IIT professors, and they teach everything from basics. The curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. We will be getting many assignments to do all over the semester. Semester exams can be found a little bit difficult than compared to the problems taught in class.

Other: I chose artificial intelligence because I somehow want to develop India's army using modern technology. The best thing about AI is you can learn something more in the same four years, including CSE. Events such as Aether and Tyohar are organised here. There are many clubs on the campus ranging from music to Engima. The campus crowd is very limited as of now, and it is going to increase in the next few years. There are girl scholarships for academically top 10% of students. The campus is surrounded by greenery all over.

Less number of placements appeared this year.

Placements: Less than 30% of the students were placed in my course. The average package offered is around 6 Lacs. None of the students has got into internship from my course. Actually in our college, most of the companies coming for placements are almost software companies.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24/7. There are many labs for my course and many types of researchers can be done here. The classrooms are so big and nice. The quality of the food available in the mess is average but in the canteen it was good. Medical facilities are provided. There are many sports and games played in our college.

Faculty: The teachers are always helpful and they are also highly qualified but their teaching quality is not up to the high standard but they have huge knowledge about the subject. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are somewhat difficult.

It has the potential to join the club of elite colleges in India if admission standards are raised.

Placements: MEC students from the 2014 batch were interviewed by over 30 international brands, and a majority of students opted for careers found placements among these recruiting companies. These brands included corporate giants from Japan and global leaders like Microsoft, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, GAP Inc and Voltas, among others. The average salary package offered was 7.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered to some students was 30 LPA.

Infrastructure: MEC features spacious seminar halls, lecture theatres, lecture halls, and tutorial rooms which is providing the right atmosphere for in-class learning and after-class discussions between teachers and students. There are state-of-the-art labs which enable students to deepen their classroom learning through practical application. The campus is vast and offers recreational facilities like a variety of outdoor and indoor activities. Accommodation and dining facilities at MEC are good than other Indian engineering colleges.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant. Professors are helpful and highly qualified, and all are PhD holders. MEC has tie-ups with global standards of excellence. Housing laboratories are equipped to effectuate ground-breaking inventions and innovations under the supervision of faculty members who are highly accomplished and dedicated scholars in their respective fields with industry, research and academic experience.

It's a great place to have great opportunities, good teachers, great labs, but fees should be less.

Placements: About 39% of the students from our course got placed in core companies like Amazon, Oracle, etc. About 45% of the students got selected in companies like L&T, Tech Mahindra and Siemens. The highest salary package offered was 34 LPA in Amazon, and the lowest salary package offered was around 4.6 LPA. Mostly 75% of the students prefer to go abroad and continue their studies. Most of them don't prefer placements, which is the problem here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. There are air-conditioned classrooms, huge lecture theatres, and the Wi-Fi is good but doesn't have high speed. Labs are the best, and you get Labs and everything digitally. There are no some things like metres. The library is fantastic, and there is an on-campus hostel. In a room, there are 2 students. The food served is delicious and awesome. Our college provided 24x7 medical facility and a good gymnasium.

Faculty: The main reason for me to join in this college is faculty members. They all are PhD holders from renowned IITs and NITs and even from foreign universities like Mexican, American, Singapore, etc. There is a French course in our curriculum. I strongly recommend that if you want to join in this college see the faculty members profile on our college website which has all details. The course curriculum is relevant, and I think it makes students industry-ready because I didn't do any internship in any industry yet.

Other: I like electronics, so I chose this course. The best things about our course are Gates and logics. I wish that our college should add a little bit of syllabus. Our college organises events like Aether, which is good and organises some fests every month. The campus has a total strength of almost 1,000 students. But the fee here is hectic, i.e., 6 LPA.

A best place for a leader to be an entrepreneur.

Placements: We did not have any placements as we are the first batch of MEC, but we had internships and 99% students were offered internships in very good companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Hetero, Vizag Steel Plant etc. We were assigned a few mentors and regular monitoring was done on our work. We had to send reports for every fortnight and an end report also was to be submitted. We even had a company connect in our first year where companies like Bulls, Michelin, Thales etc visited and interacted with the students in person.

Infrastructure: I could say we have very good classrooms or maybe, one the best I have seen. the labs are sufficient for the students to do research. The labs are well-equipped, and we have a good Library which is so extraordinary that you shall find a book for your need. I say we have a few poor sports facilities as of now as new courts are about to get finished in a couple of months. We have pool, basketball, TT, tennis, volleyball and appropriate arrangements were made for cricket with coaches as well. The medical facility is a bit poor but you shall have a car always ready to take you to the nearest hospital

Faculty: We are very fortunate to have such faculty members as they are the best ones, and we get interns to work with our faculty members from France. Most of the faculty members are friendly and care for you. We can visit them anytime for any issue regarding academics or help in our personal projects, and you shall never return with disappointment.
