Admission to MCH BA (Hons) is based on merit secured in the qualifying exam and personal essay submitted by the candidate during the application process. The university has not released the admission dates for 2025 batch. However, For the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) BA programme, admission is normally available from October/November to July/August. The total fees for BA courses at MAHE include multiple components such as tuition fees, application fees, hostel fees, etc. The fee structure for BA courses for NRI and international students is different. The total tuition fees for BA courses at Manipal Academy of Higher Education for Indian students ranges from INR 1.5 lakh to INR 12 lakh. Candidates who choose hostel accommodation are required to pay INR 2.9 lakh for hostel fees for three years.

Manipal University admissions are entirelyy entrance-based. Except for a few courses, where candidates are selected through the merit obtained in their last qualifying exam or by qualifying for Department specific tets for the respective courses.
