Manipal University BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Manipal University (MAHE) BTech is a four-year course offered across several specialisations. This course is taught by the Faculty of Science, Technology & Management at Manipal Institute of Technology. Students can also get direct admission to the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry in some BTech specialisations, such as Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, etc.
Manipal University (MAHE) BTech admission is entrance-based. Those who are willing to get admission to BTech must qualify for MET, which is an in-house entrance exam of Manipal University for admission to most of its UG courses. Additionally, the university also accepts the scores of KCET and DASA UG. DASA UG DASA is the abbreviation for Direct Admission of Students Abroad. MET exam pattern consisted of the details regarding how the examination was held. As per the official MET exam pattern, the examination was held as a computer-based test at various centres. The total duration of the examination was 2 hours. Candidates had to answer Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT). For every correct answer, the candidate was allotted four marks. There was no negative marking for Numerical Answer Type (NAT) but one mark was deducted for every wrong answer in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
