MIT-WPU, Pune Admissions 2026 (Open): Fees, Eligibility, Dates, Selection Process

MIT-WPU Pune admission dates for the BSc course is not out yet. However, admission portal for UG courses are open for the academic year 2025. Yes, there are seat reservations for  MIT-WPU Pune BSc course. The institute offers seat reservation for the candidates belonging to Maharashtra State and is only applicable  after the  fulfillment of the eligibility criteria specified by respective authorities from time to time. • Scheduled caste (SC) - 13%
• Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 7%
• Vimukta Jati / De Notified Tribes (VJ / DT /NT-A) - 3%
• Nomedic Tribes 1 (NT-B) - 2.5%
• Nomedic Tribes 2 (NT-C) - 3.5%
• Nomedic Tribes 3 (NT-D) - 2%
• Other Backward Class (OBC) - 19%

For admission to the UG level programme, i.e. BSc, candidates must have passed class 12. Also, candidates are required to appear for the MITID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) based on which candidates will be selected for further admission rounds which include the Studio test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The final selection list is made on cumulative assessment of all rounds and for final seat allotment, candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at MITID for document verification and fee payment.

Yes, MIT-WPU offers a three-year and a four-year BBA course. These courses are offered across 12 specialisations in total. These are Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management, Branding and Advertising, Global e-Business, HR Management, International Business, Global Marketing and Event Management, Banking Finance & Insurance, Business Analytics, Global Business & Management and Branding and Advertising. The three-year BBA is also offered in dual specialisations where students get to study with two specialisations simultaneously from (Marketing/Finance/ HR with CSR/Sports/Travel & Tourism/ Entrepreneurship Management).

Yes, MIT Pune BCA admissions are entirely entrance-based. The university selects eligible candidates based on its in-house entrance exam, i.e., MIT WPU-CET. The university conducts a common entrance test for the selection of candidates for its UG & PG courses. This exam is conducted in online mode. In the selection process, there is 100% weightage given for the entrance exam and 50% for the personal interview round. Whoever is willing to get admission to this course must qualify for the MIT-WPU CET exam with a valid score. 

To study a three-year BCA (Science) course at MIT Pune, candidates have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as per the university norms. The minimum eligibility to apply for BCA at MIT Pune is to pass Class 12 in the Science stream or pass a Diploma in Engineering. MIT WPU School of Government offers seat in MA programme based on entrance exam scores. The selection to the course is based on written descriptive test conducted by MIT WPU. Selected candidates have to further pass a personal interview round for admission. Aspirants who are selected need to pay the first installment of the fee and report at the campus for document verification to confirm their seat.
