Yes, MIT-WPU accepts the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) entrance test scores for admission to a few undergraduate and postgraduate courses. For MIT-WPU BTech admission, the University accepts either JEE Main/ MHT-CET or PERA CET entrance exam scores. Apart from BTech, MIT-WPU also accepts MHT- CET for MBA and BPharm admission. MIT WPU Pune accepts multiple entrance exams for admission to the MBA course. Candidates can apply for any one of the entrance exams for admission. The final selection is based on the performance of candidates in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, followed by other selection rounds. Few of the entrance exams are as follows:

For admission to the UG level programme, i.e. BSc, candidates must have passed class 12. Also, candidates are required to appear for the MITID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) based on which candidates will be selected for further admission rounds which include the Studio test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The final selection list is made on cumulative assessment of all rounds and for final seat allotment, candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at MITID for document verification and fee payment.

As per the MIT-WPU, Pune course admission process, the university conducts MIT-WPU, Pune CET for admission to the UG and PG courses particularly. Apart from this, MIT-WPU, Pune admission is also done based on valid scores of national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, MHT CET, PERA CET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT and NEET-UG, among others for admission to BTech, MBA and BPharm courses. The common selection criteria for MIT-WPU, Pune admission comprise a Personal Interview (PI) round that evaluates the capabilities of the applicants. Candidates must secure a minmum aggregate in Class 12 and graduation for admission to UG and PG level courses. 

Candidates must complete Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% aggregate for reserved category) to apply for BCom programme at MIT-WPU. Aspirants are selected for BCom based on their scores in MIT WPU CET followed by a PI round.

CAT cutoffs are usually not announced with the CAT result. The CAT cutoffs are also not released to the public.

They are published after a few days of the result announcement when the IIMs and other colleges start their shortlisting process. The IIMs opens their shortlisting window based on the CAT cut-offs two to three days after the result announcement. The CAT percentile of candidates shortlisted for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) can be considered the cut-off for that IIM. For example, if a candidate with a CAT percentile of 99 belonging to the General category is selected for the WAT/GD-PI of IIM Calcutta, then the CAT cut-off for IIM Calcutta is 99 percentile. Only those candidates who make it to the WAT/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut-offs.

MIT-WPU, Pune, has released the cutoffs for all rounds and categories for admission to BE/BTech courses. According to the JEE Main cutoff 2023, BTech in Mechanical Engineering cutoff ranged from 24215 to 22220 as per the first and the last round for the General AI category students. 

Candidates need to pay a fees to apply for a course at MIT-WPU. The application fees for each course is INR 2,000. Aspirants can pay the fees via any of the online payment modes. Aspirants must keep the fee receipt for future reference.

Yes, MIT-WPU, Pune offers various scholarships to its meritorious students. The scholarships are awarded on a First Come First Serve basis. MIT-WPU provides scholarships in the form of fee waivers, which are solely based on scores of candidates obtained in either MIT-WPU CET/ MHT CET/ JEE Main entrance exams for the respective courses. At MIT-WPU, the scholarships are available under the following categories:
