The CSAB Special Counselling 2025 Round 3 has concluded with the announcement of the seat allotment results for Mizoram University admission to BE/BTech courses.

A few more updates are given below:

CUET 2026 registration process has started for admission to several UG courses. Candidates can fill out the application form until Jan 31, 2026. The CUET exam 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 11, 2026, to May 31, 2026.
The CAT 2025 result is out for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates need to log in to check and download their scorecards on the official CAT portal.
For the CUET PG 2026, the last date to submit the application form is Jan 20, 2026 for admission to several PG courses, and the exam will be conducted in March 2026.

My review about this college.

Placements: We have a separate department for placement and job opportunity which is known as CDC (Career Development Cell). They are working hard for our placement day and night. Internships are provided by my college; some are paid, some are unpaid, it depends on company to company. My internship experience was awesome, I earned and learned a lot. However, the average package was very less compared to market standards, around 2.5 LPA, and the highest was 14 LPA. The companies which come every year are Vodafone, ITC, Colgate, HDFC, Tata, Flipkart, Finance Bank, Bajaj Allianz, etc. They hire 75 percent of students.

Infrastructure: Course curriculum is in perfect balance between theoretical and practical learning. Special attention is given on personality and communication development. There are many research initiatives taken by institute curriculum according to the latest and very renowned syllabus, as they try to give students every possible teaching they can give related to MBA so that students feel that they are not only teaching old and outdated syllabus. Very convenient and clean hostels are provided to the students. Good taste of food and proper timings are set for all the meals called breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Faculty: The course curriculum is in a perfect balance between theoretical and practical learning. Special attention is given to personality and communication development. There are many research initiatives taken by the institute curriculum according to the latest and very renowned syllabus, as they try to give students every possible teaching they can related to MBA so that students feel they are not only learning old and outdated syllabus. Faculty is very professional and knowledgeable. Every time they have time to teach us, even after college, they help us with study-related questions or anything else which is helpful in our career, and they guide us properly. All are experienced with full knowledge of the particular course or scheme. Staff also provide their personal numbers to students so students can easily reach them during exam times. Faculty puts strong emphasis on the future of the student. The exam structure is semester system, where every semester has 2 internal and one final semester exam.

Faculty are helpful in everything. Hostel is excellent.

Placements: The percentage is almost 70 percent. Everything is under 50000. Everyone used to get a chance of internship after completing B. Pharma, B.Sc. nursing, B.Sc. mlt, B.Sc. optometry, and B.Sc. rit. They included a B.Sc. in physiotherapy and dialysis.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good at in affordable price. Library is also there. Every book is available there. Wi-Fi used to be available in 3hostels. Practical used to be there 2times a day, food is available in the hostel. In a week there are 3 days nonveg. There is a canteen available at in affordable price.

Faculty: Two internal exams and one final exam. Teachers are very strict but very helpful. They used to reach both theory and practice. There is industry training and even hospital duties. The semester exam is not that tough if you study nicely. The pass percentage is 50 percent.

Other: The college is under the central government. Very good for the future.

The best college in North East India.

Placements: The college created career guidance, counseling, and placement. The placement is not very good compared to top colleges in India. However, there once was a placement drive held on the campus. The program was organized in collaboration with ICICI Prudential and Life Insurance Company Limited.

Infrastructure: Hostel life is perfect, with two students sharing a room and free Wi-Fi access. Several shops are located just outside the campus. The hostel also offers a gym, as well as courts for football, volleyball, basketball, and futsal, all of which are free for residents to use. The hostel mess provides decent meals.

Faculty: Faculty members are kind and nice to approach. They provide a lot of help to students. The UG syllabus is somewhat similar to CUET, IIT, JAM, etc. Exam syllabus, so being thorough with the college syllabus helps a lot for many entrance exams. The pass percentage is almost always higher than 75%.

Other: Many events and festivals like music and cultural day, winter fest, college week, and summer fest are held throughout the week. The campus has nice weather, cool and refreshing.

Perfect place to turn better into the greatest.

Placements: About 20% of the students from the B.Tech degree pursue Electrical Engineering. There are many packages offered, but mostly the elective subjects were taught by the professors for our broad studies. Most likely, there are no recruiting companies, as we all aim for government jobs. We completed our internship at the local 132kV substation. There are higher-ranking opportunities, but as we know, we need to start as Junior Engineers.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, library, Wi-Fi, and everything else are extraordinary. However, the lab machines are outdated. The equipment is old and cannot meet today's standards. The hostels are good, but the food needs improvement. The medical facilities are also good, but sometimes they can be hard to access.

Faculty: As of today, I have seen many teachers, lecturers, and professors; we have the best in that regard. They are the most hardworking individuals when it comes to our studies, which helps us improve. The pass percentage is around 75%; it isn't great, but it is not the worst either.

Other: I chose this course because I was gifted in this area of study. So, to make things great and not just better, I've been blessed with this course.

RIPANS - A memory to be remembered!

Placements: It is a central institute where admissions and hostel feel were very cheap. I finished my 4 years of B.Sc. Nursing with less than 2 lacs. The institution has well-learned and skilled teachers who guide us and provide us with knowledge. We were given enough freedom to express our opinions and we were encouraged to take part in various activities.

Infrastructure: Our hostel has Wi-Fi in every block. The hostel mess was 1200. The mess was not that good, the taste was not good according to our taste buds but with 1200 per month it is not a bad bargain. The infrastructure of the college is very good with spacious classrooms, well-maintained labs, and the library has updated books.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. The teaching quality is up to the bar. We also have Parafest, a week full of sports and activities. The most fun part of our college life. We have 2 exams before the annual exams. The college has produced many toppers as well as good medalists. Overall the education standard is very high.

Other: Every course is good. It all depends on your interest.

Review of Government Saiha College.

Placements: There are currently 2% of students that are studying the English course out of about 500 students. As students of Literature, graduates are usually working in the educational line. About 1.3% of students got an internship at (MAL) Mizo Academy of Letters. There are not many roles offered for our course.

Infrastructure: We are provided with insufficient classrooms with the implementation of the NEP system. Wi-Fi is not accessible only to faculty members. We don't have a working laboratory but the library is the best facility we can appreciate. There is a girl's hostel with very limited admission and no hostel for boys. There is an empty building supposed to be a boy's hostel but it is in the condition that it could collapse at any time. In terms of sports facilities, we have a basketball court as well as table tennis and carrom board. There is a canteen with a very limited menu.

Faculty: Most of our teachers are helpful and are all qualified but some senior teachers are lacking. It should make a student industry-ready if they are attentive to the teaching and pass the exams with their knowledge. The Semester exams are quite easy for students who are sincere in their studies. We have a pass percentage of about 39%.

Other: I chose English because I like literature as it helps us to develop a better sense of what is life and what it could be. We have the annual freshers social in which we choose freshers miss and the mister and it is quite enjoyable.
