Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2027

The university is good, but needs to work on management.
Placements: The batch contains over 80% of students from around the area. As it's a government college, it doesn't provide any internships or job packages, for that, one has to find them themselves. I can't say about roles in my course as if you want any internship, you have to do side courses like CA, Tally, computing, etc.
Infrastructure: I can't say much about hostels as I don't live there, but as per my friend who lives there, she has stated that hostels for girls are safe and good. There are computer labs for students on campus. As for the library, it's free for students, so overall facilities are good.
Faculty: About exam management, actually, you don't get much time to prepare. Students should have at least 45 days between external and internal exams, but they only give around 20 days for that. Study materials are also provided late, so these are inconvenient things about the college.

I'm satisfied. It is the best, one could get for lower fees.
Placements: Over 60% of students have been placed recently with the lowest package of 3 LPA, the highest package of 9 LPA, and the average package of 4.5 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, QX Global Group, and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Around 58% of students got internships. Top roles include tax auditor, corporate treasurer, financial planner, etc.
Infrastructure: B.Com has 4 buildings main building, general building, girls building, and padra building. Facilities include Wi-Fi, library, canteen, hospital, and a pavilion for sports. Everything is good, I'll say above average if not the best. Good opportunities for sports enthusiasts.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and qualified. The course includes a detailed curriculum with many interesting topics that help to be industry-ready. The exams aren't that difficult, you can pass if you study a week before. The passing percentage is 36%.
Other: Multiple events are happening across campus, but the events of faculty of commerce, especially B.Com are organized by student leaders and doesn't hold much charm, but worth watching once. The management can improve delays in admission and results for first year, it gets better in second year.

Placements: 50% of our college students got placed in our course. The highest package of students is 6 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Tell and Miracle companies visit our college to hire students. 30% of students got internships from our B.Com course.

Faculty: Maharaja Sayajirao University provides a higher quality of study. All teachers are knowledgeable in their subjects. Semester exams are easy when we attend all lectures. The pass Percentage is 36%, and it is easy to pass out.

Instead, go for BBA or join DU or some other place which has a good brand value, Even in the MBA programme, the placements are not that high.

Life at MSU with the passion.
Placements: 20% of the whole batch is placed from here. They all are at a good post in many type of companies in various cities and they all have best salaries which start from Rs. 35,000- Rs. 40,000 per month to each one and the placement is best at here.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities for boys and girls are also very nice. Infrastructure of college is also good. In hostel, many types of facilities are available for students and the main thing about the hostel is it is near.
Faculty: Faculty conducts mainly 2 exams for a semester which are known as internal exam & external exam. Exams here are conducted under very strict supervision and any kind of cheating is not done here. Exam system is taken by a 50-50 ratio which includes internal and external exams.
Other: The nominal fee is taken here for one year.

No good college for youth.
Placements: The college interior is so low. It is not well-maintained and not furnished. There are so many students that the college and classrooms get so congested and paced fully. There are also no placements in the college and also very low amount of students get placements. The salaries given by those companies are also not good.
Infrastructure: The hostel is also a kind of very low class. Foreigner students also come to study at this university and they live in that hostel. The food in the mess is also average. The water in the hostel which is used for drinking is also not pure. The hostel cleaning is also not much-taken care of.
Faculty: Teachers are not very qualified. They just come to teach for the sake of their salary, not for students' future. College mid-terms exams are so easy and do not take much care for students gaining more knowledge. They just come and speak and go to other classes. They do not even help to get extra knowledge out of the books.
Other: They just take a affordable feels so as per that they give good amount of service and exams and all but there one con that for every semester new materials had to bought but know they provide pdfs in WhatsApp groups so it is good thing.

The Maharaja University of Baroda is an amazing university.
Placements: 75% of students were placed in my course B.Com. The highest was Rs.25,000, the lowest was Rs.12,000, and the average was Rs.18,000. Companies like L&T, Reliance, CA firms, accounting firms, etc were recruited. 50% of students got internships. Accounting roles were offered.
Infrastructure: The quality of facilities was wonderful. Drinking water and hostel infrastructure were familiar, and the hostel food was very nice taste. The canteen provided amazing food with good quality snacks and tea. Medical facilities were up-to-date. Sports activities were organized every year for students, along with the academic curriculum.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful in teaching, discussing topics, and understanding the level of students. Teachers gave the right knowledge to students for academic and personal queries. The B.Com course students to build accounting knowledge, ready for the corporate world. The semester exam had two parts one was an internal exam, and the other was an external exam
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the finance field.

I will be neutral because of the unlimited number of student admissions in the college.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students are placed as the admission of students is around 8000. Many students don't register in placements. The highest package is around 3 LPA and the lowest is around 120000. Companies like American Information Source and Tata Consultancy are there for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure, as far as feels and students admitted are concerned, is bad as they don't have the capacity to make all the students sit in the class. But as attendance is not compulsory, very few students attend regular lectures. Hostel facilities can be rated as good as far as its feel is concerned.
Faculty: Course curriculum has been aligned with the new education policy and as the new batches are coming, they are making it difficult to pass. Professors are really helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. They help in making future decisions needed to be made by a student.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placement and huge intake for the program.
Placements: Nearly 30% of students get placement, mainly in the energy sector. Industries like Adani, ONGC, etc., come to the campus. The average package is 2 lacs, the highest is around 4 lacs, and the lowest is 1 lac. Due to the huge number of students in the B.Com program, not everyone got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, and it has a very huge campus. They have CCTV cameras in every room, but they don't have smart boards and Wi-Fi. The most famous library in Asia, one of the largest, The Hansa Mehta Library, is located here. The college provides a huge cafeteria, and you will enjoy it.
Faculty: The college has well-qualified teachers, some of whom have Ph.D. degrees, while others have done their Masters. The faculty are very kind and helpful to the students. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:120. There are 6 semesters in the course. The exams are on the easy-to-moderate side. The curriculum is well-designed to give the students practical as well as theoretical knowledge in the field.
Other: Not many fests are organized in the college, but there are fests in December and February organized by the student leaders for the freshers.

For B.Com Regular if you have more than 60% in HSC (12th) than it's safe. And for B.Com Honours entrance test is conducted by MSU as there is limited seats 218 in B.Com Hons including 18 seats for foreign students.
