NALSAR University of Law, don’t offer admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes without a valid CLAT score. Candidates looking forward to practising law in India, are required to clear the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) that is conducted by BCI. On clearing the AIBE exam, lawyers are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which is mandatory for practising the profession as an advocate in India. NALSAr University of Law offers admission to LLM programme through CLAT score. To get admission to the LLM programme, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:
1. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (For candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ PwD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI category),
or
2. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate (For candidates belonging to SC/ ST category).
Note: There is no age limit criteria for admission to LLM programme. Provided, if two candidates score's same marks in CLAT paper, then the candidate of higher age is given preference at the time of admission to the university.
Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC and ST categories) to apply for NALSAR University of Law BA LLB (Hons) programme. There is no age limit specified by the university for admission. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Nalsar University is a well know university because of its good placement history . Its been continously giving good placements for a long time now. Department of Management Studies Nalsar University has zero tolerance policy towards ragging. The institute has a internal committe for ragging complains. The ragging cell helps the students to encourage and report the issue. Students who encounter ragging should report it to designated authorities
