STEP 1: Nirma University Application Process 2026
Aspirants can apply online for the preferred course. Nirma University application fees vary by the application category and the selected course. For example, the application fee for UG courses is INR 350 for candidates who have passed Class 12 from a school located in Gujarat (including Daman & Diu or Dadra & Nagar Haveli) and INR 1,200 for candidates who passed Class 12 from schools located outside of Gujarat. For MBA, the application fee is INR 1,500 for the General category and INR 4,500 for NRI/ NRI Sponsored category.
STEP 2: Selection Process
Nirma University admission to most of the courses is entrance based. Candidates are shortlisted based on entrance exam like CAT for MBA, JEE Main/ GUJCET for BTech and BS 2+2 Dual Degree, CMAT for MCA, CLAT for BA LLB (Hons), etc. The university conducts an entrance test for MBA in Family Business and Entrepreneurship. For some courses admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Personal interview is conducted for BBA, MBA and other courses.

STEP 3: Merit List
The university releases a merit list with the names of the students selected for the respective course. Candidates with scores equal and above the Nirma University cutoff are called for document verification.
STEP 4: Admission Fee Payment
Selected candidates get an admission offer. The university offers seats to candidates under the All India and State Categories. The Government seats in BTech, MCA, BPharm, MPharm is filled via ACPC Counselling. In this case, candidates need to apply separately for ACPC for seat allotment. Once the seat is allotted, candidates can confirm their seat by paying the Nirma University fees.

Nirma University Scholarships 2026
Nirma University offers merit and merit-cum-means scholarships of up to 100% of tuition fees to UG students. BTech scholarships are based on ACPC merit rank or JEE Main CRL rank. Students pursuing Integrated Law courses (5-year) can get scholarships of up to INR 2 lakh per annum based on their merit or family income.
At the PG level, MBA, MTech and MPharm students are given scholarships. Candidates who have qualified GATE/ GPAT are given a higher scholarship. The renewal of some scholarships at Nirma University Gota is based on students' academic performance and overall conduct during the previous year.

As per the Round-3 closing Nirma University GUJCET cutoff 2026 for General Home state category, BTech CSE with 255 rank is the most competitive branch. BTech Mechanical Engineering with 1277 closing rank is the least competitive specialisation of BTech.
